This is nuts lol! How on earth did everything flip so fast? Feels like we've been thrown back into earlier times without warning. Those sexist jabs?!

This comes across as ancient history, even when seen as an effort to stir things up.

Her spirits might improve once you wear that fur outfit and head outside only to get flattened by a stampede of large beasts... that's how things end for those prehistoric types.

This comes across as a fresh take on the classic boys club that was against having women around.

Wow this proves the human race might actually have a future after all 😱 🀣 🀑

Are you ancient or something? That line isn't even a real dig, it's just lame you took the time to write it out. Maybe pick up an interest that doesn't drag other people into it.

Hating on women isn't the power move he seems to believe it is...lol

WarmAnchor55archiveJul 25

This is the reason nice things never stick around

One can only hope it's someone trolling for kicks. If a real person acted that way it would be pretty pathetic. Makes sense how the homeless remark slipped out though.

He just craves notice and lacks the humor to earn it naturally. So the little guy jumps in and tries his hardest anyway.

Yeah it's pretty sad. The homeless remark still doesn't click for me though. I figured that one had to be trolling as well. Both just came off way too over the top to be serious.

SlowHarbour21archiveJul 25

All these comebacks show I must have hit a sore spot.

If cash is there for the peps then cash is there for proper supplies. Grabbing from a harm reduction setup feels off.

Sure, just switch to meth or heroin so the guilt over grabbing a cheap sharps bin disappears

SlowBramble47archiveJul 25

Sharps bins cost so little there's really no reason to toss syringes loose, capped or not, since caps slip off. If a worker gets stuck by one of yours in the trash they'll face tests to check for anything passed on.

The spot near me serves anyone who uses needles, not only heavy stuff. Any needle use counts as harm reduction given how many online ask about reusing for peps just to cut costs even though they're inexpensive. I skip the exchange myself.

WarmWillow50archiveJul 25

I stick old detergent jugs, protein tubs and similar things to hold them. Still, playing devil's advocate here...most trash crews don't touch bags by hand anymore. The truck just lifts the whole bin. Plus dumps are full of sharp junk already so needles blend right in. Once the load gets dumped a machine pushes everything into piles and containers get smashed, so the needles end up loose in the mix anyway. Doing the container step feels like going through the motions.

Surprised how many folks have those automatic truck services now. Around NYC the workers still grab the bags themselves and toss them in. I feel for them when they hit big buildings or schools that fill a whole truck in one stop.

Thanks. That's why I never worried much, just cap and drop it. I've shifted since then. Most people posting here skip reading the full thread and keep lecturing anyway.

I was waiting the whole time to see when you'd own up and move along... πŸ‘ 😎 🀣 Glad it happened though.
