Things are mostly fine aside from this one aspect in my view. Checking my weight daily tends to make me anxious. That's how it affected me anyway. The number drops one day then rises by a pound or two the following. I only step on the scale weekly now. Since January 9th of 2026 I've lost fifty pounds and have five more to reach my target. Getting rid of those final five seems tough. Last week I actually went up by two tenths of a pound. It's not a huge issue yet after losing an average of two point two pounds each week it feels unexpected.
I'm a forty-year-old guy standing six feet tall. Years back I taught combat sports and stepped into a few bouts, so I stayed fit and powerful without ever looking like someone who lifts for show. After some injuries I quit working out almost completely. My desk job left me moving very little, and the pounds crept on fast. Trying to drop them through diet alone felt slow and uneven. I needed an enormous cut just to see steady change, and that wore me down. After reading up I picked this medication and began at two milligrams. The first shot triggered intense stomach trouble. Everything I'd eaten for decades seemed to exit at once with serious force. Results showed up fast, mostly from fluid leaving my system in the opening couple of days. The worst effects faded soon, and I started noticing real shifts. This drug doesn't silence thoughts about eating as strongly as some others, and I found that true. Food still crosses my mind regularly, yet hunger rarely follows. Meals fill me fast, though the urge sometimes returns shortly after. My drive to eat dropped by about half while my capacity shrank much more. After several weeks I raised the amount to three milligrams because the earlier dose no longer curbed hunger enough. No fresh issues appeared, yet my body adjusted quickly and appetite returned. I've stayed at four milligrams for five weeks. During the first two I felt skin sensitivity that stayed mild but obvious. My partner tried three milligrams and found the same effect unbearable, so she switched to a different option. I step on the scale each morning. Most readings show a small drop and rarely move upward. On average I'm shedding two and a half pounds weekly, moving from two twenty-five down to one ninety-three. Hunger has grown a bit stronger lately, and rather than raise the dose further I may add a small amount of the other medication to help. My overall progress feels slower than hoped. I aimed for one eighty-five yet suspect more needs to come off before the stomach area looks lean. My arms show clearer lines now and my legs carried almost no extra weight to begin with, but the middle still looks soft. The first shot happened on the first of May and I now space them six days apart. I worried about losing muscle along the way, yet my body-fat reading sits at twenty-three percent, meaning twenty-two of the thirty pounds gone came from fat. My target has changed from a scale number to reaching fourteen percent body fat before I focus on adding muscle back.
