Question for the Women

Summary

Which peptides or related compounds have actually helped women around 45 feel tighter, more energetic, and healthier with thyroid antibodies?

The thread centers on a husband seeking real-world peptide experiences for his wife who is already fit but wants subtle improvements and a confidence boost. Several women stress starting with balanced BHRT to stabilize estrogen, progesterone, and thyroid function before adding anything else. Low-dose GLP-1 agonists like tirzepatide are frequently mentioned next for body composition, while mitochondrial supporters such as SS-31, MOTS-c, NAD+, and Epitalon are suggested for energy and skin. One participant reported severe side effects from BHRT and prefers avoiding it.

I'm looking into peptides for my wife. At 45 she is in great shape and does not need to lose weight in my view, yet she would like to firm up a few spots and just feel like she has had a win. She stayed active for years until family and kids took priority, and recent stress has left her wanting to feel more like her younger self. She learned she has positive thyroid antibodies even though her other labs are fine, and that has her motivated to stay as healthy as possible. Fitness, food, and daily habits are already solid. I have read plenty but want to know what peptides have actually made a difference for the women here. I realize they are no miracle and lack strong human trials, so I see them as a small nudge at best. Thanks for any thoughts.

Though my actual gender is male, I enjoy roleplaying as female whenever I go online. The approaches that succeeded for me follow right after.

Those aids helped me drop some pounds. During the process I took up strength building along with moves that push back against force. As a result I feel tougher, more youthful and pleased with how I look plus the work I've put in. When it came to her weights session I picked one built around pumping movements.

Besides the thyroid, which exact details is she seeking assistance on?

CopperFenwick68archiveNov 26, 2025

I reached 45 and found myself in perimenopause, even with regular cycles continuing. Getting started on bioidentical hormones took priority for me. Regulating my estrogen and progesterone brought many other elements into line too, like my thyroid. Estrogen helps the liver operate and directs nutrients properly, leading to improved thyroid performance. Progesterone makes sleep better, and that matters for lots of reasons. I began with an estradiol patch applied twice each week plus progesterone capsules every night. Later on, after a couple months, I added a low dose of GLP1. Doing it in that order turned out to be the most helpful step I took.

Yeah that viewpoint lines up with what I think too. Planning to try Epitalon before long since folks mention it works especially well for females. The KLOW stands out as a favorite even when it stings at the start. It really improves how my complexion and overall condition feel. Discussions about SS-31 together with Mots-C and Nad+ caught my eye because they supposedly enhance mitochondrial function and lead to plenty of upsides. I've checked into those areas on my own.

I don't agree here. When I tried the hormone treatment expecting it would ease my temperature surges, it threw my monthly cycles into chaos. Once I dealt with bleeding that lasted over a month and was quite intense. The emotional changes and swelling were terrible too. Still, I'm okay with smaller amounts of the two medications mentioned. That approach makes sense to me, even if I haven't tried it. Right now I'm looking around for the various compounds. My intention is to begin near the close of next month. Starting earlier isn't possible because the three supplements course lasts fourteen weeks and I have an operation coming up on the tenth that means stopping everything two weeks before. Interrupting halfway doesn't appeal. Plus I intend to follow with the other one afterward.

That sounds rough, yet from what I went through it seems the hormones ended up out of whack, which can occur without any replacement therapy or when the mix itself is off. Wild cycles, emotional shifts, and swelling all point to E, P, and T being mismatched, something that improved once I changed the amounts.

I checked into those treatments after noting elevated thyroid counts and learned they carry a boxed warning for medullary thyroid cancer.

I agree with the suggestion overall yet needed to include compounded testosterone too. It ended up serving as the ideal finishing detail for my own bioidentical hormone replacement routine.
