Questions about storing peptides

Summary

best practices for storing peptide powders long-term including freezer exposure, moisture risks, and whether freezing harms GH

Participants agree brief room-temperature exposure during handling does no harm and that sealed vials already limit moisture enough to avoid degradation. Most say GLP-type peptides tolerate freeze-thaw cycles with little loss, but HGH is viewed as more fragile. One user is running a side-by-side test of frozen versus non-frozen HGH vials and will share results; others caution against using certain labs for that test.

What this discussion establishesWhere people disagree

whether any freeze-thaw cycle ruins HGH or if only repeated cycles cause problems

Still open

actual lab results comparing frozen and non-frozen HGH potency, plus reliability of the chosen testing service

When I started getting peptides I had no desiccant packs for the containers but I have them now. My questions are these. First, does taking the vials out of the freezer now and then for a few minutes to add or remove others cause any damage to the dry powder? Second, since I skipped the desiccant packs at the beginning, could moisture have entered the vials and started breaking down the peptides? Third, someone told me never to freeze GH powder at all because even one freeze and thaw ruins it. Is that accurate? Fourth, is a single freeze-thaw cycle okay or do multiple cycles cause the damage? I may be overthinking this but I spent a lot on these and want to run a serious cycle after the holidays without ruining anything.

1) No. 2) No, the vials are sealed or vacuum sealed and already contain 1-4 percent moisture, similar to flour at around 14 percent. 3) I don't know. 4) Some peptides are currently being tested for freeze-thaw effects and so far show only slight degradation or results within the margin of error. HGH on the other hand does not hold up well.

Those earlier comments seem right to me anyway.

I'm testing hgh from an unknown source that has a US location. I sent two vials to a lab, one kept frozen for three weeks and the other kept at room temperature. It cost a bit extra to include the frozen vial. I should have the results next week. I've always wondered about this.

I'd appreciate hearing how everything turns out.

Has anyone used a certain testing service? Their site mentioned fast two-day turnaround but they received my samples last Thursday and I'm not getting replies. Can anyone suggest a reliable testing company in the US?

Use the search function and you should find what you’re looking for.

I already did and only found two mentions of that service.

Last month some posts on a test server showed they aren't reliable at all. People here have said bad things too. That kind of question doesn't belong in this discussion and might not get noticed. I shared mine in the thread about the product and received input from others.

I posted here because I was testing a frozen hgh vial and a non-frozen hgh vial, which matches the topic of this thread. If you read the comments you can see that.

I'm interested in the hgh results. Although I've never used it, I've been debating on it. Still have a tesamorelin kit I need to start using first.

I saw a comment claiming that mixing this together with cjc and ipa makes receptors respond more strongly.

Got a quick question to tack onto this discussion. Preparing for my first collective assessment and it's got me pumped. I signed up to provide a sample initially. But then I recalled that the kits arrived back in mid August and immediately went into a sealed flask along with some drying agents before being stored in the icebox. They've stayed there the whole time. I'm sure the material holds up over long periods. Still after two months in the cold I'm unsure if it's still good enough to submit for checking. It would suck to get rejected during the mailing phase and end up squandering funds along with the group's efforts.

Keeping it in the freezer ought to work out okay, more so when used alongside Tirz.

Appreciate the help, buddy. Everything looked okay at first, yet the risks seem pretty big for this kind of deal.
