Do GLP-1 drugs lower cancer risk and why

Users note recent reports that tirzepatide slows tumor growth and may prevent cancer, crediting anti-inflammatory effects plus weight loss. One user recalls an earlier thread on the topic while another points out the June 5 article date as fresh. Speculation extends the benefit to retatrutide due to its strong anti-inflammatory action, backed by two preclinical references.

An article caught my attention suggesting these medications for weight management may lower the odds of cancer, with experts now exploring the underlying reasons. One version in particular came up in multiple trials showing it can slow tumor progression and help ward off the illness altogether. The effect probably comes from its inflammation-reducing action along with the benefits of shedding extra weight. This feels like an amazing era to be part of.

Yeah someone posted a thread on this maybe around a month ago I think. Great news.

I thought this wasn't entirely fresh info but the piece carries a June fifth date so at least that element counts as current.

I think the other one works the same way since it is incredibly anti inflammatory.
