I experienced the same thing on both tirz and reta. I'm still using the GLP1 but now rely on medications to sleep. Lower doses didn't cause it, only the higher ones. It doesn't appear to be a direct side effect of the drug but rather from the metabolic changes it triggers.
I started this thread to hear about how reta affects people's anxiety, resting heart rate, cortisol levels, and sleep quality. My own sleep has been broken up, with early awakenings where I can't doze off again even though my eyes feel heavy, plus some really restless nights. Because of that I'm planning to switch to sema or combine them. Sleep is too important to me. Anyone want to share their stories, especially if they've had similar problems with other GLP meds?
