I would push back on that, not every batch is made or stored the same way.

I will disagree too. I just took the sixth dose from a vial of R50 and it still feels the same. Probably one more dose left in it.

Those lab numbers do not match what I saw in practice. I will not go past eight weeks again.

My first order was one R12 kit plus one R30 to keep going. After ordering they said the R12 was out and would arrive a week or two after the R30. Supplies had been showing up for weeks and we thought we had everything ready for years. So I mixed the big R30 vial and started. The R12 arrived three days later. Long story short that first vial lasted at least three months and we averaged over two pounds lost per week. Not ideal, I am sure it was not as strong as a fresh under thirty day batch and we took a risk, but careful handling let it work. Now I have an R12 kit that seems more trouble to mix and filter than it is worth.

Appetite suppression fading then disappearing on the same dose while weight stays flat is not tolerance, it is how all these GLP drugs behave. On any fixed dose the body has a set weight it wants to hold. Above that weight you feel appetite suppression, once you hit it the suppression ends. Regain weight on the same dose and suppression returns until you are back at the set point. To drop further you raise the dose, which lowers the target weight and brings suppression back until you reach it. True tolerance has never shown up in the thousands of people tracked over four plus years in the sema and tirz trials. If tolerance were happening weight would trend back toward starting levels. Evidence is building that stopping and restarting later can lower how well it works again, possibly from the body making antibodies to the drug. The same thing shows up with other peptide drugs.

Why would cloudy urine mean it is working?

Clear urine usually means you are overhydrated though moderate overhydration is low risk. Cloudy is not typically a positive sign. Bright colors often come from meds or supplements. Pale yellow is the target range, darker shades mean increasing dehydration. I do not recognize that reference, it reads like an AI hallucination. Only biologically active for two to three weeks but potency holds until after four weeks.

I asked because yesterday was injection day, 7 mg reta early morning, been on it since February. That night the urine looked normal color but very cloudy, almost opaque, and I felt a little discomfort. Today it is already clear and normal with no discomfort.

You mentioned mixing with too little water. Is there a percentage that works best or a standard amount? I know the brand version comes with more liquid than most grey market vials.

I have been on reta nine weeks and the last two weeks my appetite has been coming back stronger. I am at 6.5 mg and will try 7.5 mg today to see if it helps.

SlowMarble44archiveJul 8

To add on, the first six weeks at 1 mg gave very strong appetite and craving control, then it shifted noticeably so I moved to 2 mg for the past three weeks but I am not feeling much more than what I had at six weeks on 1 mg. I still get full quicker and eat less than without reta but it does not feel like the early weeks. Planning to go to 3 mg this week and see if that restarts things.

I am up to 7 mg now but also on 6 IU of GH so I think the appetite is coming from that. I still have no cravings and get full fast and stay full longer. My main goal now is the insulin sensitivity benefit. I am down to 233 from 268 and around 10 to 12 percent body fat, still want to drop a bit more before starting a lean bulk while keeping a very low maintenance dose of reta.

I wanted to share this link to make the paper easier to find if anyone is interested.

I took a ten week break, exactly 74 days, and restarted three days ago. Yes the break reset my response to reta. I want to stay cautious since it is only three days but this morning my stomach already feels much fuller and gastric emptying is clearly slowed again. On the mental side it is not quite as definite but starting yesterday food noise and the urge to eat feel reduced. I pulled out a pint of ice cream last night, had five bites and just did not want more so I put it away, something that never happens. An hour later I tried again, had a few more bites and still felt no real interest. I could have kept going but my brain simply said enough. The real test is whether this holds for at least two more weeks. The first time around reta worked about three months before effects faded.

This is making me wonder if reta stopped working for me because of the GH I started rather than any tolerance building up.

I hope you mean mg and not ml, unless there is a decimal missing.

I do think GH is playing a part but you also build tolerance to it. I want to take a break yet still need the insulin sensitivity so I am torn.

PlainAlder11archiveJul 16

Not me, though plenty of others do. All the places I get it from include testing, and Endo does too. The testing is done by a third party rather than the seller.
