They keep better in the fridge than sitting out at room temperature, but they remain good for many years when kept dark in the freezer.

According to STG data, reconstituted reta loses about 14 percent after 45 days at room temperature. The same reconstituted material loses 3-5 percent when refrigerated over those 45 days and reaches 9 percent loss after 90 days. Powder that has never been reconstituted lasts years in the freezer. Reconstituted reta is probably best not refrozen because ice crystals are said to harm the peptide, and one freeze-thaw cycle alone removes 4-14 percent. Tirz appears to be a more stable peptide overall.

Do you have a source or link for those degradation numbers on reta? Not arguing, just wondering, since I would have expected lower figures from data on other peptides. It is possible one peptide breaks down quicker after freezing and thawing. Freezing could still work if someone buys large-dose reta vials and splits them for a low dose across several smaller vials. A 2 mg dose would drop by at most 0.28 mg after a 14 percent loss from the cycle. Even so, smaller-dose vials probably make more sense for long-term low dosing.

Keeping powdered tirz in a dark box in the basement. Any sense whether it will still be good after a year? All the storage information feels unclear because no one can say if it spent 14 days at 30 degrees during shipping or eight months on a shelf before that. If the mixed solution stays clear and the effects still show up, is that enough to know it is fine?

Yeah I probably went too far. One kit arrived without issues so I ordered three more and now have enough tirz for four years at my current low 4 mg dose. Still ended up cheaper than the usual option though, so maybe not a total loss.

I read that dry powder Reta lasts 1 to 1.5 years at room temperature.

I think a video was shared that said lyophilized peptides stay fine in the refrigerator for two years without trouble and five to ten years in a deep freeze. Even just a dark spot at room temperature was described as decent for six months or more. These times do not mean the material is useless afterward, only that breakdown has begun.
