Been on Tirz for a year. Weight loss has been limited but I kept the twenty pounds I lost earlier. Stayed at 5 mg for months, then 7.5 mg for months, then 10 mg with no problems. Then diarrhea appeared suddenly. It started with sulfur burps followed by urgent loose stools with almost no warning. First episode came two days after the shot. Happened again the next week. By the third week I blamed the Tirz. Splitting the dose in half twice a week has not helped. Used three different batches so it is not that. Doctor disliked the split schedule and said to go back to 7.5 mg. The most recent dose at 5 mg still left me sick for three days. This is starting to affect daily life. Not a doctor. Might be time to see a GI specialist. Something else could be happening. The part that stands out is still having problems even after lowering the dose.

Hi, very similar issue but with Reta. First time it happened while switching from Tirze to Reta at 5 mg reta plus 2 mg Tirze. Stopped Tirze completely and kept only Reta yet the same side effect continued. Switched to 5 mg reta every eight days and side effects dropped a lot though they still show up now and then. Most side effects appear two days after the injection. To handle it I tried figuring out which foods set it off. No single food does it; instead it seems tied to changing from a usual food. For example if breakfast is normally yogurt but circumstances force a croissant with cream instead, stomach starts acting up in about an hour and diarrhea often follows a few hours later. The earlier point about bloodwork and a consultation seems right. Those steps might be worth taking, especially with any abdominal pain along with the symptoms.

No pain here, which explains the lack of warning. All bloodwork was done last week and came back normal.
