Transition from tirz + reta to reta + caligrintide?

Summary

How to switch or stack multiple GLP-1s like tirz, reta, and cagri when appetite suppression fades?

Users report that moving between these medications often involves stalls and returning hunger, with one person regaining weight after an abrupt switch. Stacking all three at once is viewed as workable at low doses but less clean than pairing just two. Gradual tapering is acknowledged as preferable, yet practical experience remains limited and results vary.

I started on semaglutide but after a while it quit having any effect so I moved over to tirzepatide. Without much guidance I began at the lowest tirz dose and stopped the first one all at once, which brought back intense hunger and caused me to regain fifteen pounds. Once I reached 10 mg of tirz I added reta instead of raising the dose further. After three months the hunger control still feels weak, so now I'm looking at trying caligrintide. The usual advice is to taper one while raising another, yet that would mean running reta, tirz, and cali at the same time. Has anyone handled a change like this?

Running reta, tirz, and cagri together can work. I tried it myself but kept the reta and cagri amounts low, so nothing dramatic showed up either way. Pairing just tirz with cagri or reta with cagri feels simpler. A trial is looking at tirz combined with a newer version of cagri. Plateaus happen often, so when you say sema stopped working did that also mean the scale started moving up again? Some people do keep a small amount of sema alongside tirz or reta.

I'm dealing with pretty much the same plateau right now, so I added Cagri and am just waiting to see if it starts helping.

Switching this way gets complicated because the three compounds can overlap, making it difficult to know which one is actually responsible for any changes.

Hunger and thoughts about food slowly returned and the scale stopped moving, which was tough to manage. Right now I'm already combining tirz with reta but still need stronger appetite control and would rather not increase the tirz dose.
