Is there a rough figure for how much space TR60 takes up once you add 3 milliliters of BAC to it? Without pulling it into a bigger syringe and moving it elsewhere, is there a way to figure this out? The dosing calculator online doesn't match what I'm thinking. Adding 3mL to 60mg won't leave the total at 3mL.

The vial holds 60mg of Tirz unless the batch was over or under filled. That quantity of active stays the same. A peptide dosing calculator will show how many units to draw for each injection after putting in 3ml of Bac.

Almost. One milliliter of BAC water weighs one gram, so three milliliters weigh three grams or 3000 milligrams. Adding 60mg raises the total by only two percent. An insulin syringe can't measure that small a change anyway.

You're wondering about the real volume after mixing 3 ml BAC with 60 mg tirz? It ends up a bit over 3 ml, but the difference isn't worth worrying about. As you noted, the only way to know for sure is to pull everything into a 5 ml mixing syringe and read the mark. Because the syringe is sterile you could push it straight back into the original vial afterward. If it measures 3.25 ml, then the math becomes exact. At that level of precision you'd also need to factor in any tested overfill from the batch. I'd just use 60 mg in 3 ml BAC for a 20 mg per ml concentration, dose from that, and treat any leftover units at the end as a bonus.

The volume stays at 3mL because the dissolved peptide does not change the amount of BAC added in any meaningful way. Whatever volume of BAC goes into the vial is what you should expect as the final volume.

The 60 mg of T has almost nothing to do with how much powder you actually see in the vial, and weight isn't a reliable way to work out volume anyway.

I looked into peptide volumes in detail, mainly to see how much space a 50-year supply of 15 mg weekly Tirz would take up by itself. It came out to about 90 percent of the inside of a standard ping-pong ball. The 60 mg of actual Tirz itself takes up roughly 4.4 units or 0.044 mL once reconstituted. Binders and other material in the vial add more volume, along with empty space in the lyophilized puck that doesn't count. So 60 mg of Tirz in 3 mL would give about 3.044 mL plus whatever the extra material contributes.

For most products I haven't seen any real difference in volume, except with 500 mg NAD+. When I add 3 ml of BAC to that one I end up with about 3.3 ml total and can't fit it all into a 3 ml cartridge.
