What test should I run

7 replies5 peopleOct 12, 2025☆ Follow
Summary

what blood tests to run after starting GLP-1 research and how often

Participants recommend getting baseline labs for lipids, glucose, thyroid, CBC and CMP before beginning. A custom panel covering glucose regulation and GLP-1 specific markers is suggested as a solid starting point. Retesting every three to six months is viewed as reasonable depending on dose and goals. Improvements in lipids are noted as particularly motivating.

After finishing with those glp1 compounds, which medical checks would make sense next? A kind person gave me pointers to testing services that charged reasonable fees. My previous results came from August through my doctor, right before anything began. When exactly should I schedule another set?

Thanks a lot, you've made me check the test results too. Everything seemed fine earlier, but that changed fast. Still, I'm keeping up with the thread.

Haha my bad. Must've thought a thread here said to get labs completed. 😕

I always make sure to establish my starting points for key indicators including fats in blood, sugar, and thyroid function before I begin. The results from using GLPs show clear benefits over three to nine months that keep me going even without considering the pounds lost.

My choice would vary based on past health records, the specific things I aim to monitor, and my budget limits. Endless checks exist and they can pull you into endless searches much like with peptides. A standard starting option often provides a broad look at things. After checking the website I located a combined set of tests assembled by another user. It covers many indicators including sugar management, breakdown markers tied to the treatment, routine counts and panels, plus extras. Similar groups appeared under alternate medication titles. That combination seems like one I would select. Testing intervals stay between three and six months apart based on amount used, the substance, and purpose. These come from actual facilities that partner with big testing outfits and unusual findings warrant a visit to a physician.

I guess I need to look into what CMP refers to. The CBC test is one I've taken already. Thanks!

Earlier comments pointed out that checking cholesterol levels counts as pretty important. Other exams exist too, yet seeing major progress with those readings felt really motivating to me personally. I located lots of suitable options from different lab services.
