Losing a security clearance is definitely possible.

Losing a security clearance is definitely possible.
Only if you get caught bringing them in from overseas. Simply using them or similar compounds shouldn't trigger that.
It probably shouldn't, but losing Global Entry could still impact a clearance, so it's worth keeping in mind.
The main manufacturer isn't really losing money on the gray market yet. Their prices still target insurers and employers rather than individuals. As long as compounding pharmacies remain active, cracking down on gray sources won't solve their bigger problem and would simply shift customers to those pharmacies. Only if compounding itself gets shut down would gray buyers become a direct target.
I'm not concerned. If they want to jail me for trying to improve my health, that's their choice. Hopefully I still drop some weight while I'm in there.
Even buying approved medications outside official channels is still illegal. That said, the odds of actual prosecution for end users remain close to zero.
I lost all my research peptides in a boating accident.
If the medical system worked better we probably wouldn't be here. Insurers refuse to cover these items and manufacturers charge very high prices in this country because they can. The whole situation feels wrong.
They aren't really targeting personal-use amounts. Testing each sample costs hundreds of dollars and doing it at scale would exhaust their budget fast. The expense of an investigation and prosecution just to go after one person with a single kit makes no sense. Larger orders of ten kits or more are more likely to draw real attention.
Keep in mind that vials and syringes aren't allowed in prison.
True, but he knows someone who could help.
Chargers can be smuggled in. I learned that from an old movie.
Yeah, but they're still a hassle.
I have several years' worth of both compounds stored in labeled containers from domestic warehouses. I doubt regulators will bother me.
For decades the government has rarely gone after individuals ordering small amounts of gray-market items; enforcement usually hits local producers instead. A powerful industry lobby could change that, but so far the focus stays on supply rather than single buyers. Digital trails from past copyright cases were much clearer than typical peptide orders.
The main company would rather turn gray buyers into paying customers than send them to jail, since locking people up reduces future revenue.
If anyone here ends up in jail over these compounds, I feel like I should send them a cake.
If you're really worried, get a prescription through a wellness or aesthetic clinic. My relative who is a nurse sometimes orders gray items with me for convenience, though I personally don't stress about it much given my past habits.
