Might not be the same thing, but there is a condition called pseudohypoglycemia that can feel similar. Next time it happens check blood pressure right away in case it is orthostatic hypotension. Also look at urine color to see if dehydration is playing a role.
After seeing Reddit mentioned elsewhere I checked it out and was surprised by what I found. A few people there described getting lightheaded or even passing out. That made me think about my own two quick lightheaded moments this past week. We have cut way back on carbs lately, skipping pasta and bread. I still drink two to four beers daily. My recent blood work looked fine and blood pressure was normal. The only other thing that stands out is the hard digging and concrete work I did for a flagpole base, which left me wiped out. Could the lower carbs on this medication be the issue?
