GHK-Cu, yes or no?

34 replies24 peopleMay 7, 2026β˜† Follow
Summary

Is GHK-Cu worth using for skin, hair, and related benefits, and what real-world results and dosing do users report?

Most participants describe gradual improvements in skin softness and firmness, hair growth and thickness, nail strength, and reduced calluses after 2-8 months of daily use. Results appear more noticeable in older users, require patience, and are often described as subtle at first but cumulative with continued cycles. Doses commonly range from 1-3 mg daily, frequently in blends that also contain KPV, with some extending to 5 mg. A few users report no effects after two months while others combine it with topicals or microneedling.

What this discussion establishesWhere people disagree

Whether to begin GHK-Cu during active weight loss or only after reaching goal weight; how long to cycle versus staying on continuously; extent of benefits for users under 40.

Still open

Optimal long-term cycling protocol, best dilution to minimize stinging, and whether purity variations affect outcomes.

Nothing here is advice.

Does all the excitement hold up in practice? Anyone here seen actual improvements from using it, and if so how much were you taking? Acne has never been a problem for me but the eczema acts up pretty severely. Right now I'm on KPV as well. Looking for thoughts from others before jumping in πŸ™‚

Improvements might not show up until quite a while has passed. Plenty of folks stop trying after only a short while. I've been using this regimen for roughly eight months, and brought in something extra later on. After about two months my skin felt smoother. Some time after that I noticed the hard rough patches on my feet no longer needed filing, while my hair and nails started growing quicker. Not long ago new hair began appearing on my scalp and keeps increasing. My spouse uses the same thing, and after several months his hands turned smooth even though he does physical work that usually leaves them tough. It pays off when you keep going patiently.

PlainCompass54archiveMay 7

Also every day I use two milligrams of that copper peptide mixed with point four milligrams from the remaining compounds.

The excitement around this product seems justified based on what I've seen so far. My results line up with the changes others have described. My complexion feels more dense and resilient overall. I've noticed some positive shifts around the jaw area and the loose skin beneath it. At my age those differences stand out more clearly than they might for someone younger. It will remain part of my regular lineup from now on. People react in their own ways of course yet most reports I've come across lean favorable.

I got hold of a batch not long ago and it's still on the way, though I plan to test it once I hit my target for dropping weight. After checking around it looks like most people into self-optimization stick to amounts from half a milligram up to three. Starting low helps check how it sits with me and any unwanted reactions before gradually raising the dose across several weeks. Some strange accounts also mentioned discomfort levels along with container sizes, such as a bad response to the metal when the mix isn't weak enough or without prior peptides, which can make the shot sting terribly, plus cautions against bigger quantities in tiny bottles since mixing ends up weaker.

I've reached the fourth week using Glow and it definitely seems effective. The initial and clearest improvement involves my hair. It feels like there's more of it when I run my fingers through. The strands appear fuller and with reduced graying. My teeth and gums represent another area of change. They used to be quite tender prior to beginning this, but now even vigorous brushing causes no pain. Regarding my skin, I haven't observed significant differences so far. There's still a fortnight remaining in the regimen, so perhaps further improvements will become apparent.

IronSignal60archiveMay 7

The guy trimming my hair pointed out that my locks looked thicker now with a deeper tone like back in earlier days.

I used to believe it was smarter to hold off until hitting my target weight, but looking back I regret not beginning sooner. An extra year and a half of advantages might have come my way. The difference probably depends on the total amount one needs to drop.

SharpHarbour71archiveMay 7

I think it's definitely valuable. This is my fourth round of eight weeks each, and I've seen some positive changes, though they're gradual, building up over time. Being older means results come slower, so patience is key like people said. I'm aiming to continue this for twelve months total. The initial three rounds used two milligrams daily, but now I've increased to three milligrams and it seems slightly more effective. Pairing it with half a milligram of KPV each day has eliminated my restless legs that lasted for years, reduced ongoing discomforts, and improved my complexion in a way that's hard to top.

PatientHarbour23archiveMay 7

The item sits ready in my residence for mixing up prior to application. My schedule has turned quite hectic of late, requiring an open day without commitments to manage everything involved.

BlueSignal97archiveMay 7

It seems the upsides from this copper peptide shift quite a bit depending on how old someone is. Those past forty often notice stronger changes because younger bodies already hold plenty on their own. Levels drop over the years so adding it later brings clearer gains. I began with one mixture for roughly six weeks then switched to a different blend for the next eight. I keep taking one milligram each day without weekend breaks. I'm still working to ease the allergic response that leaves marks and lumps for several days after each shot. That part feels minor now since I'm pleased with the results overall. At sixty eight and female this mix probably suits me well anyway. Man it has really helped. My long standing fluid seepage through the leg skin has stopped completely and the surface there looks ordinary again. Dry cracked spots on my feet have healed and appear fine. The skin feels softer and a touch tighter around my middle and legs. My face tone has leveled out without the uneven red patches that once looked like a butterfly rash. My doctor even keeps asking about lupus at checkups. The deep heel discomfort from thinning cushioning has eased enough that new tissue seems to be forming there. Scaly areas on my elbows and wrists have vanished. This kind of thing works well for older people facing skin or fluid problems. I'm planning to try another version with an added element said to reduce site reactions once the current supply runs low.

I came across a helpful introduction to the advantages explained by a doctor who released it recently. Her additional videos on peptides stand out to me because they tend to be brief, around ten minutes, practical, and full of useful details.

PlainCompass54archiveMay 7

I stick with this option myself. I purchase blank sterile containers of ten milliliters capacity, which lets me include additional bacteriostatic water.

SharpBramble33archiveMay 7

Yeah I agree on that point. Gets you more for the money πŸ˜‚ Right on. I clean things up with filters plus preserved water inside blank containers to handle those bad sterility results from different sources.

Every so often I check her videos too besides that other creator.

WarmSparrow60archiveMay 7

I've been taking five milligrams each day across the past three months. My skin lines look smoother now and the white strands in my facial hair are shifting back to a darker shade. My nails grow fast enough that trimming happens all the time. The hair on my head feels denser too. I went ahead and bought a fresh hundred-milligram package. I keep the copper peptide cream on hand as well and my partner along with our child recently began applying it. Now and then I add a zinc tablet.

BlueAlder28archiveMay 7

Yeah, that's the approach I'm taking as well. After mixing the powder using three milliliters of bacteriostatic water, I pull half of that into the cartridge for the pen. Next I add another three milliliters of the water and divide one point five milliliters between the cartridge and the original container. This brings the total liquid to six milliliters for each hundred milligrams. The additional mixing helps cut down on the irritation caused by the copper peptide. I also tried eight millimeter needles but that turned out poorly since they keep getting bent. I actually bent one just this morning. After finishing the two hundred units I have left, I'll switch to six millimeter ones.

IronLantern24archiveMay 7

My arms look less loose than before, and my neck shows the same change. Not certain if the GHK-cu caused it. Could all be in my head. Really regret not taking measurements ahead of dropping the pounds.

What's the usual length of time you stay on before taking a break?

ClearMeadow73archiveMay 10

I think it was a good decision. After six weeks using two milligrams of ghkcu each day, I've now moved down to one milligram every day. The color of my facial skin looks much more uniform and the redness has reduced a lot. There's also decreased swelling below my eyes. My fingernails have become longer and stronger without any breaking or splitting that I normally get. Since I saw somewhere it's fine to keep using it, I don't intend to take a break right now.

PatientFenwick91archiveMay 10

Almost two months have passed since I started taking two milligrams every day. So far there haven't been any upsides from it. I wonder if my age is the issue and five milligrams would do the trick instead.

I appreciate the message you shared. My feeling is that using this peptide during the weight reduction phase works better than holding off for the final target. This way the collagen production improves gradually throughout the process instead of hoping for full results afterward. Waiting until everything is lost could mean missing the optimal window for tightening the skin. Wishing you success with the slimming efforts.

My work schedule means long stretches away followed by similar stretches at home so I only use the copper peptide during the home stretches and leave it behind otherwise resulting in alternating three-month periods on and off. I have noted elsewhere how impressed I am with the improvements to skin texture and appearance from the copper peptide. At the same time I also roll with a fine needle device apply the cream and exfoliate a couple times weekly making it hard to tell what is driving the visible changes. The way the longer injection needles bend has to come from the shots themselves since I avoid the cream at those sites. Just recently I attached a fresh needle to the injector device squeezed some skin and pushed in only for it to bend flat. It was brand new had not gone through any vial top and this never occurred early on so something about the skin must be different now even if my injection method is not the best.

I also put it on the skin by blending cosmetic grade ghkcu into hyaluronic acid lotion. The results please me. Do you choose 8mm needles hoping to cut down on the pain? I've heard that 8mm works better compared to shorter ones with ghkcu.

PatientQuill20archiveMay 10

I'm a forty-four year old man who has used 2.8 milligrams of Glow over the past five weeks or so. The outcomes have been excellent so far. My intention is to continue only up to my target body mass. The routine involves daily use through two containers followed by thirty days without it. I understand that stopping allows the usual skin aging to resume, yet I believe minimizing harm to the skin during weight reduction is worthwhile. The visible changes include waking up with a fresh appearance right away, firmer looking and feeling skin on my legs and armpits, a strange dark patch fading from my face, and a softer texture to my facial hair.

BlueAlder28archiveMay 10

Yeah, that's what I discovered too after looking into it. Injections placed deeper subcutaneously seem to cause minimal discomfort. The initial shots I tried were really bad, similar to getting hit with a small projectile from a toy gun. Attempting to thin it out more with that ratio didn't reduce the issue at all. Eventually I located several spots on my body that cause no pain during the process, so those are the ones I use now. Once these current needles are gone, I'll switch to shorter ones that are six millimeters long.

Thanks for the positive words. I agree with what you said. The trouble I'm facing is doing seven injections daily already. My stomach area is in bad shape, which means I'm using my rear end, the spots beneath my arms, and my upper legs for the shots into muscle. I'm nearly finished with the periods on the first pair of items, and after removing them from the schedule I'll begin the injections with the new substance.

Even after a couple of months, changes hadn't shown up for me. Improvements often need half a year or longer before they appear, and those early shifts feel faint at first. Age wasn't a barrier in my case. My mother was already eighty when she noticed differences. I stayed patient with the process.

PatientFenwick91archiveMay 10

I'm going to keep trying it and expect to share some positive updates later on. This is the one peptide that hasn't had any impact on me up to now, but I'm remaining optimistic.

Earlier I shared about what happened with my spouse. She's sixty-three and used the product consistently over six or seven months. Unexpectedly folks began praising her appearance and fuller locks. Now roughly a dozen of her acquaintances have started using it too. My son's wife who is thirty-six tried it for four and a half months and wondered whether it was doing anything. Out of the blue her female colleagues began noticing and commenting positively. That product really delivers results. As someone mentioned you need patience and faith in the process. Just like that multiple championship winning coach used to emphasize to his team. Incidentally my family members have been taking it as well.

SlowLantern50archiveJul 14

Going to try the first option and watch how it turns out before switching entirely to the other one.

SteadyWillow60archiveJul 14

Completed a twelve-week stretch on the first one before moving to the second and the whole thing has worked out nicely so far. It could be all in my head but those lines on my legs from my teenage years look lighter these days. My hair also seems to be improving. Skin changes haven't shown up much yet though I saw somewhere that folks past fifty get the strongest effects there so maybe at my age it'll take longer before anything shows up like a couple decades from now.

GreyFenwick31archiveJul 14
↳ replying to @GreyCinder52

Yeah that recommendation comes across as pretty reliable to me. My grasp of peptides stays pretty limited overall yet pairing the approach with shedding pounds for firmer skin feels worthwhile. There's still plenty left for me to figure out.
