Probably some strong motivation and real habit changes once the weight came off. After reaching that point most would work hard to avoid sliding back. Sounds like positive information.
Medical records from a large system showed that more than half of patients kept their weight off or lost more over the two years after they stopped these medications. About one in five put the weight back on. The information comes from charts rather than what people said themselves. Even with various reports, some still repeat the idea that you have to stay on them forever. These drugs seem to work differently for different people. At the two-year mark after stopping, over half the patients on each of the three main versions had kept the loss or gone further.
