BPC 157 and anhedonia?

4 replies3 peopleJun 11, 2026☆ Follow
Summary

Can BPC 157 cause anhedonia or depression?

One user reported sudden severe anhedonia after adding BPC 157 while already on long-term Tirzepatide maintenance with no prior issues. Another asked if anything else was being taken at the same time. The original poster confirmed the BPC was genuine and noted a Reddit group for similar neurological reactions, while a third user said they had never encountered this effect before.

Has anyone else run into anhedonia or depression while using BPC 157?

Is that the only peptide you're using, or are you on anything else whatsoever?

Basically I've been using 1.5mg Tirz for maintenance over several months with zero issues. Added a batch of BPC and suddenly got bad anhedonia after just a few days.

I've been reading around here and a couple other spots for a while now and haven't come across that before. Are you certain it was completely pure BPC?

Yeah I'm confident the BPC is completely genuine with no doubts. There's apparently a support group on Reddit for folks who've had bad neurological side effects from it. Still looking into it.
