I keep the needle in for a second or two once the plunger is down. The compound is Retatrutide. My latest 30mg vial got mixed with 1.8ml BAC, so 36 units equals a 6mg dose.

This morning I administered 85 units, and the whole process seemed to drag on forever. I kept wondering when the injection would finally finish. The amount of liquid looked enormous. My method stays gradual and consistent, taking about three or four seconds in total. Once the plunger is fully depressed I keep the needle inserted for four seconds exactly. I cannot recall how the habit started, but I still follow it every time. People sure pick up strange routines.

The almighty voice proclaimed that the sacred hundred unit needle must come out first. After that the jab goes into my own body while I count exactly four and nothing else. That total alone is permitted with no going past it to five or stopping early at three unless it leads straight there. Six gets ruled out entirely. Reaching the fourth number means yanking the blessed tool back out of my now dosed self as the vision required.

For watery mixtures I tend to inject around three to five units each second. With oily ones or glutathione and l-carnitine I take more than a second for each unit. Should the total go past roughly ten units I keep the needle in place another three or four seconds after finishing.

Owning an automated pen has me thinking I'm missing out since its pace stays dull and never varies.

Those insulin markings really piss me off. My shots come out to half a milliliter equaling fifteen milligrams. The whole thing drags on for ten seconds minimum. That sting actually turns me on.

Peptides go pretty fast in one or two seconds while oils move slower and take around five or six.

Back when my doses were bigger I switched to thicker needles. The thickest insulin syringe I located was 27 gauge. Luer lock setups let me go even thicker though like 25 or 18. For 150 units I split it across two separate 1 milliliter 27 gauge insulin syringes doing 75 in each. Once I tried a single shot with 5 milliliter luer lock and 25 gauge but the lump under the skin got huge so I split it into two spots on opposite sides instead. I'm relieved I no longer handle that much volume.
