Finishing one bottle onto the next ?

Summary

Can you switch retatrutide sources without a washout and how long is reconstituted product usable?

Users report no need for any washout when changing sources as long as concentration matches, since the goal is steady blood levels. Most continue directly with the next vial. Reconstituted stability is debated, with some limiting use to four weeks while others report eight to ten weeks without noticeable loss if stored properly and kept clear. Batch differences can affect degradation speed.

This might be a beginner question but I couldn't find the answer anywhere. I've used one source for ten weeks and finished it, now moving to a different one with the same strength. Is it fine to keep going or do I need a break period first?

SteadySignal69archiveJun 21

I figure that if the substance checks out under testing, then there's no issue with keeping on. What worries me a bit is the idea of one mixed container lasting a full ten weeks. So I've decided to limit it to four weeks like usual and get rid of whatever's left over.

The source makes no difference, only what is actually in it matters. You would definitely skip any break periods because you want steady levels in the blood. As for ten weeks, I have gone eight or nine months using six to eight weeks per vial and many go longer even up to ninety days. Just clean the vial before and after each use, store it right, and it should be okay. The twenty eight day rule is usually for medical settings with multiple people drawing from it daily. I have used the other compound for that length of time, though some charts show this one starting to lose strength sooner, but I think that only reduces how strong it feels.

No time off needed. Just mix up the next one and keep going. Ten weeks is pushing the limit on a mixed vial though. I switch sources all the time. I reconstituted two vials from the new source on Thursday and started the nine milligram shots this morning. My partner is using it too so that is why two vials.

No need for any break. Hopefully you have test results so you know how to mix for the actual matching dose. Ten weeks is a long time though. Usually this compound starts to lose strength noticeably somewhere between forty five and ninety days. I would personally stop at seven weeks but not much past that. The other compound lasts even longer but use the right mixing liquid and never use cloudy vials. A blood level calculator helps and if you are switching kits you might want to try half your last dose after three days instead of seven to check you get similar effects, then go back to weekly if it feels right.

Can you explain that to me? I have no idea what you are talking about.

SharpTimber80archiveJun 21

If switching sources makes you nervous you can always do a small test shot and wait twenty four hours to see how you feel before taking the rest. That is what I do.

I think they are talking about the plotter tool that shows levels based on dose. Link is in my signature.

I finished two pens from the first source and now have vials from well regarded places here. I will just continue with the normal schedule thanks everyone.

Receptor burnout is a myth. Just carry on.

Thanks. I will stick with my simple spreadsheet.

Spreadsheets work great and that is what I use, but many people do not have one or want to learn it. It really helps to understand what happens when you raise the dose or change the schedule. Both the highest point where sides appear and the lowest point where hunger returns matter. The plots also do not show the delay before you actually feel anything. I do not feel the other compound for almost forty eight hours and sides from this one did not really peak until seventy two hours.

Stop. Four weeks is too short. I go eight weeks and will go ten if needed. The way I mix it normally ten weeks is not even required.

Someone noted brands can produce slightly varying results even with matching purity levels. What are your thoughts on this recent option. My spouse and I made the change a bit more than seven days earlier and chose to tweak the amount yesterday. The prior container probably weakened across its nine weeks at two uses each week.

I do not think there is anything wrong with using the same mixed vial for ten weeks. That is exactly what I did with my first vial. It had ten milligrams in it and I ran it for ten weeks straight at one milligram a week. I did not notice any drop in quality week after week. The strength stayed exactly the same for all the weeks. These peptides are tougher than people think.

I am on eight milligrams and had to take five from the old vial and three from the new one in two separate shots. It happens.

From several refrigerated degradation studies up to sixty and ninety days it depends a lot on the batch. The other compound is rarely down more than a few percent while this one can drop ten percent at sixty days though some batches lose only a few percent. Purity can stay near ninety nine percent or fall to ninety percent in the same time. Your results may vary.

You are right. The previous source stuff is hard to describe but it hits hard is how I would put it. The full feeling and appetite control and so on. Kind of like that first ever two milligram dose. With all the new source I have I just mixed two vials with three milliliters of mixing liquid. I pinned myself and my partner with nine milligrams up from five weeks at eight milligrams of the old stuff. Not feeling much from it today. I think it is the one milligram increase. Every time I go up one milligram nothing happens. I did it twice before from four to five and six to seven. I will try one more next week and probably go to ten milligrams. Several people here I talk with often say it is the best. One says this source is the only one they will use.

Thanks for the feedback. We cannot complain about the new source. We both lost too much weight last week and the sides also increased. But yeah this could be entirely explained by the previous vial losing strength over its nine weeks. So no clear answer here about source differences. In any case not enough to worry when starting a new one. But the idea of a half trial dose has some merit. I think I will switch when this vial is empty. Maybe try out a few others from the freezer.

See below updated. This new source must be really smooth. Like I mentioned I did that nine milligram shot Sunday morning and have not had any of the normal sides I get on the next two days but some loose stools that I have not had for a while. Got on my once a week weigh in and lost one point four pounds and BMI and body fat percent were down too.

SharpTimber80archiveJun 23

I am excited to try out the new source stuff. Trying to decide if I should finish out the nine vials left in my one kit right now or try the new one right away when I get it.

I switch it up regularly. Completing the full set before going back to it doesn't happen for me. I use a single vial and then go back to the provider.
