Curious if others have tried this. The plan is to reconstitute two separate vials with different peptides, then transfer the liquid from one into the other with a syringe. Basically creating a custom mix. I realize this carries contamination risks and similar issues, but wondering if those risks are really that high. Right now I already draw from both my CJC and IPA vials with the same syringe, so this would just cut one step. What's the general take on doing something like this?

That's fairly common, though I don't do it exactly the way you described. Draw 1mL bac, reconstitute one vial, pull out that 1ml after mixing, add it to the next peptide, then pull from that vial, swap the needle for a filter, put it into a fresh sterile vial and top up with more bac if needed. No need to reconstitute them one at a time. Not sure if that comes across clearly. *1mL is just an example, adjust the volume to whatever you actually need.

The issue here is pH. Mixing two vials of the same peptide isn't a problem since the pH would match. But when combining different blends the pH levels probably won't be the same, and that could end up damaging one or both. I was looking for the sources I read on this the other day to share but there are too many and I can't locate them again. One point was that reconstituting all the peptides in their own vials first and then combining everything into one vial was not recommended because of this.

That doesn't add up to me. Reconstituting them all in one vial or doing them separately before combining shouldn't change the pH. Factory blending and lyophilizing works fine but doing it at home doesn't? Would combining the powders first then adding bac be acceptable, yet reconstituting each one individually before mixing not be? That fails a basic logic check for me, though I'm no chemical engineer. I mostly followed the Anela protocol that described the steps. Note- I'm not pushing to blend everything in a vial and use it. I get that some peptides don't mix well together and a few are extra sensitive.

Yeah that's what I've been doing. Might just keep doing that instead of making it more complicated.

I've reached the stage where my old container still holds maybe a milligram or two, which isn't sufficient on its own, so I'm combining what's left there with material from a fresh one. Simply discarding the remainder doesn't sit well with me.

I toss that stuff out every time since dealing with it proves more hassle than it's worth and whatever remains ends up the least clean regardless.
