Six-Month Check-In (60 lbs. down)

Summary

What kind of weight loss and body composition results come from switching between tirzepatide and retatrutide while adding testosterone and HGH?

One user reports a 60 lb drop from 257 to 197 over six months after beginning with compounded tirzepatide then moving to retatrutide, with the majority of loss in the first four months followed by maintenance and muscle-building efforts. The same person notes that testosterone, retatrutide, and occasional HGH have worked best among the peptides tried. Congratulatory replies mention interest in HGH versus other secretagogues, and the original poster clarifies use of a CGM without observed insulin resistance.

I began with a compounded form of tirzepatide in the middle of August last year. I soon came across this forum along with the gray market options and moved to retatrutide after roughly two months. Over that span I've lost 60 pounds total, moving from 257 down to 197. The bulk of the weight came off in the opening four months, and lately I've been holding steady while working to gain some muscle. Being 40 and 6'2", I've sampled many of the well-known peptides, and the ones that have delivered the best results for me are testosterone along with retatrutide plus a bit of HGH from time to time. My current goal is to shed another 7 or 8 pounds of fat and really focus on building more muscle.

Solid effort. I've been thinking about trying HGH myself but I keep hesitating. For the moment I'm sticking with CJC and IPA, though I may come back to it later. I see you have a CGM. Did you get that because of diabetes beforehand or just to monitor things while using HGH?

I picked it up back when I began experimenting with Tesa, Ipa, and CJC, and I've just held onto it ever since. I haven't noticed any insulin resistance developing from the HGH or those secretagogues. It's more that I enjoy tracking the extra data. Haha.
