Stupid question but could you add a filter when drawing from the original vial and then switch to an insulin needle?

Interesting idea, but part of the point of filtering is removing bacteria that might be in the original vial. If left there the bacteria can multiply. Filtering into a sterile vial removes them and buys more time, plus you only need one filter and one luer lock setup instead of doing it every dose.

What was said above. Also drawing through a filter instead of pushing can create more air bubbles and you lose more solution because you can't flush with air and would need to swap needles and use extra BAC.

They mostly work one way, outgoing, so you'd draw into the luer lock syringe, attach the filter, then push the peptide through into a new sterile vial or cartridge.
Filters and vials are available, along with pen capsules. They also have 4 mm filters for syringes that help avoid losing too much during reconstitution.

That site has a lot of useful items. Don't worry about it. The 4 mm filters there run about the usual rate of nearly a dollar each. You got a better deal on the 13 mm ones.

It does have some unique items at reasonable prices. The smaller filters cost about the same as elsewhere, but the larger ones are less expensive somehow. Thanks for sharing with your American friends. Sorry about my grammar. With the new tariffs in the EU, I understand why you wouldn't order from there. Tariffs have increased a lot for us too, so I've reduced buying from abroad, which is a shame. I used to skip middlemen and purchase straight from overseas marketplaces, but lately the added costs have made that impractical.

My home sits in Belgium's Flemish-speaking section where the local tongue amounts to Dutch mixed with a couple extra expressions. Your French skills exceed mine by a good margin. Sharing is what gives information its real value. It brings me satisfaction to think it might assist anyone at all. To me the world isn't nations claiming their own lands but rather a common place for every person.

My grasp on Dutch or maybe Flemish stops right after asking whether everything is fine. Non-American people who juggle several languages with ease really impress me. Getting along in France or Spain works okay for me at times, though I'm nowhere near fluent.

I only use the larger ones. Loss is minor compared to the hassle I had with the smaller size.
