Yeah, plenty here are probably watching the early eloralintide data and wondering how soon it reaches the research market. I picked up some cagrilintide earlier in my own GLP-1 run in case I hit a plateau short of goal, but it feels like it might already be outdated before I even use it.
A new paper covers translational work on eloralintide, a fresh amylin analog aimed at obesity. Lab tests checked activity at rat and human amylin receptors and the calcitonin receptor. Animal work was done in rats and monkeys. The first human study gave single rising doses from very low up to 12 mg to healthy volunteers and tracked safety and tolerability.
