Curious about that too. I bought some through an online marketplace but they originated in China. Spotted another listing with the same items yet the source was identical. Hoping to locate a seller based inside the UK instead.
These look way too big and end up holding onto quite a bit of the prepared mixture unless you push it through with BAC or air. Aren't thirteen millimeter ones available at all?
Four millimeter filters are my preference but thirteen millimeter will suffice should the four millimeter prove unavailable. The zero point two two is accurate and PES matches too.
Thirty millimeters does seem rather large to me, yet locating anything more compact here from a reliable source is proving difficult.
Small diameter versions only handle up to one and a half milliliters. Larger ones end up being a lot more practical for me.
For my mixed up peptides after dissolving I go with the PES ones thirteen millimeters wide and point two two micron holes. When handling benzyl alcohol instead I switch over to PTFE versions twenty five millimeters across since the quantities run larger. Those PTFE ones hold up way better around straight alcohol.
They look quite nice as well. I'll have to investigate this..

No problem. It might seem pointless since the freeze-dried material originates there, yet whenever possible I prefer getting items elsewhere to confirm they pass strict cleanliness checks and follow proper manufacturing rules. With something going straight into the body that step might prevent a bad contamination or something much worse.
Those tiny 4 millimeter ones only give you roughly a tenth of a square centimeter to work with. Forcing bigger fluid amounts through that might hold tiny bits or leftover chunks will clog it in no time. Pushing harder risks tearing the material so nothing gets cleaned and you would never notice since the surface stays hidden from view. I switched to the larger 13 millimeter versions whenever the volume stays around 10 milliliters or below.
I appreciate the clarification you gave. So far nothing has gone wrong for me. I'll remember what you said though. I'm going to continue with the four millimeter ones on amounts of two milliliters or less. For three milliliters I may use a pair of them as long as my existing ones hold out, then get the thirteen millimeter variety.

Finding clean containers in Britain has been really tough for me. Some options appeared but their prices seemed way too high. I thought about getting them from America instead, except the postage costs were way out of line. I even looked at purchasing a sterilizing machine to handle the process on my own haha
Previously I tried some vials purchased online and had no problems with them yet I question their cleanliness. These days I tend to go with pen cartridges because I'm certain they are sterile in place of vials. They can contain as much as 3ml and allow for easy extraction even when not inserted into a pen device, possibly more so than vials.
I noticed that seller from before as well. They had those containers for sale. Similar ones turn up cheaper somewhere else. The gap isn't large but it grows quickly with bigger orders. Opinions on their quality vary yet without any official checks everyone takes a risk on uncertified options and there's no clear way to judge one maker over another.

Yeah, that seems right to me. Still, skipping the filtering step just due to possible non-sterility in the container doesn't add up in my view. I'd prefer to go ahead and filter while assuming the container starts out clean, so the finished mixture stays clear of germs or other junk. Skipping that step into an unverified container could let in unwanted stuff and leave the whole batch compromised. In the end I do the filtering on that same assumption anyway, mainly to get a bit of reassurance even if nothing is certain. It acts as a basic extra layer I suppose. Hope this comes across okay.
