Irritation

Summary

How long does skin irritation away from the injection site last on reta?

Several users describe a sunburn-like or itchy skin sensitivity that appears with reta use. Most say it fades on its own after a few days to four weeks, sometimes only when the dose is raised, and one person found antihistamines helpful. The feeling can be body-wide at first and disruptive at night.

Has anyone else experienced skin irritation away from the injection spot, and if so how long did it hang around?

I've noticed a touch of irritation with my skin while using reta. What's your current regimen?

SharpTimber80archiveJun 17

This only shows up for me after raising the amount I take and then fades away after several days.

What does that irritation feel like exactly? You might notice various skin feelings as a side effect of reta.

That burning feeling like too much sun tends to fade within three or four weeks for lots of others on this. Early on I noticed the sensation everywhere across me and it sometimes roused me from sleep during the night right after dosing.

This matches the feeling after too much sun exposure, and learning the effect will fade is reassuring. Thanks to everyone for the input.

My symptom felt pretty similar to the tingling from beta alanine during pre workout routines. The feeling faded after a couple weeks without returning. Antihistamines eased things for me whenever the sensation got annoying.

This doesn't seem like a huge issue but I was hoping it wouldn't become a lasting one πŸ‘
