Eloralintide my first dose

41 replies14 peopleJun 13, 2026☆ Follow
Summary

What does a first dose of eloralintide feel like and how does it compare to other GLP-1s at higher amounts?

The original poster reports that 6 mg produces strong appetite suppression similar to a tirzepatide plus survo stack, with little interest in fried chicken and plans to test candy corn and ice cream later. Other users share experiences with very high doses, stacking strategies involving SS-31, and slower titration on tirzepatide while still losing weight. A rodent study combining eloralintide with tirzepatide is mentioned as showing additive effects.

What this discussion establishesWhere people disagree

Whether very high doses (60 mg range) will prove safe or necessary versus standard or modestly increased amounts of tirzepatide or retatrutide

Still open

How long the strong suppression lasts and whether higher doses of eloralintide will be studied or approved in humans

Nothing here is advice.

My starting 6 mg dose feels a lot like running tirz together with survo, delivering that powerful appetite suppression once the survo part really kicks in.

CopperMarble87archiveJun 13

This is coming from someone who normally has to go heavy on other GLP-1s, and right now I'm looking at fried chicken with zero interest in it.

CopperMarble87archiveJun 13

Later I'll run the real test with candy corn and ice cream to check how well I can say no.

Love this! We should let the research team know about this test so they can add the candy corn and ice cream challenge into the phase 4 studies.

GreyHarbour68archiveJun 13

Oh they already know and are watching the same way we are, free research data is always useful.

Yeah, to the people I know who are still on 2 mg of tirz a week after a year, F You!

I will say that running 10 mg of ss-31 daily has helped me as well once I reached that level.

My 75 year old dad lost 17 lbs on 1 mg tirz.

My view is that exhausting those receptor sequences along with the peptide links means any further amounts produce zero results until the links get restored and that's where the repair compound plays its part.

I suppose somebody needs to lead the way here. Perhaps later on they will dedicate a public space to me because of the studies I've done with peptides, all for humanity's benefit.

I'm just saying you answered a question I hadn't gotten around to asking yet! The new question would be, has anyone ever gone higher?

CopperSignal27archiveJun 14

Research examined a much larger amount of that medication, roughly six times the normal level. Results showed limited additional reduction in body weight alongside increased unwanted reactions, roughly matching a high weekly amount of another compound. Larger quantities could eventually receive approval following further investigation, especially for individuals dealing with extreme weight problems or weaker responses to typical levels of these treatments. That timeline stretches years ahead, and maximums likely won't reach the upper figures discussed for alternatives. The trials indicated no brand new serious issues beyond the standard reactions, simply more of them. Only one medication has undergone such testing so far, and even at the elevated level it fell short of what standard dosing achieves with a different option. This offers limited reassurance without confirming safety for higher amounts of the remaining choices.

I have a family member who has lost about the same on only 2 mg weekly over 9 months. She can't titrate up because of sides but doesn't want to stop. Meanwhile I'm on 20 mg.

Planning to raise my amount soon. A month back I was using thirteen milligrams until pausing for some health treatments. Last week on Thursday I split it into two seven milligram portions. Hunger is still there though. I believe an increase is necessary. Side effects aren't a concern for me but hitting my target weight is.

I remember you stopping for a procedure. Stopping these meds even briefly scares me. Titrate up.

AmberCompass48archiveJun 14
↳ replying to @WarmMeadow92

Yeah, I've resumed! Took a pause lasting about three weeks back in February and everything went fine. Paused once more close to May tenth, then restarted this past Thursday. The appetite is through the roof with constant thoughts about eating. Preparing to do an injection of either medication type before long, most likely the first mentioned. These urges need to go away. From what I recall you began at a greater starting point compared to mine. Desperately aiming to reach the target weight. Every instance of being put under for a procedure requires a break, and that's occurred two times already during the current year. This is frustrating.

Last year I saw plenty of stories online describing how intense cravings can come roaring back after quitting those treatments, and I accept that's accurate. I hope the urge fades for you before long. I began at 335 pounds and sit at 211 now, so only six more separate me from the target and I can nearly sense the finish. Still, I'm mentally prepared to pause the drop for a stretch. Even so I want those final six gone right away. A few weeks back someone here urged just pushing through the finish line, which struck me as odd then. Now I'm trying it anyway. Using cagri I lowered intake slightly and zeroed in on protein, which has produced roughly twelve pounds gone over the past eight weeks. I aim to hit the target by the fourth of July. You've made solid progress yourself and I know you'll reach it in no time.

SharpLantern71archiveJun 14

Someone put out findings from rat tests looking at two substances for shedding body weight. Taken separately the results came out roughly equal. Using both at once produced gains that built on each other. Adding the second after progress stalled on the first got the losses moving once more. Human trials of the pair are now running. Putting out animal data this way stands out for that outfit. It feels like a signal the trials with people are heading in a good direction. Since I'm just holding steady these days I keep thinking about trying small amounts of the newer one alongside reduced levels of a similar option to stay level. They also shared a graph showing the numbers.

Recently we chatted about those rodents in the experiment. The findings were encouraging throughout. I am optimistic the benefits will apply to people too. It seems probable, given what happened with another similar treatment. I noticed details on a messaging platform about research with two compounds in rats. During the recent diabetes gathering data was shown from tests combining the substances in animals. The key insight is that using both together led to results that fully added together. This does not shock me because it aligns with earlier observations.

Curious what dosing schedule works for SS31. Is it five days followed by two rest days or seven days running and over how many weeks total?

AmberCompass48archiveJun 14
↳ replying to @WarmMeadow92

Man my numbers have been bouncing around a ton lately. Back in late summer of twenty twenty five I weighed three hundred thirty pounds and got down near two hundred thirteen before creeping back up to two hundred nineteen or twenty over the past few weeks. The intense appetite returns full force without those medications. I realize I will have trouble holding steady once I quit them since my urge for sweets takes over and pushes aside the better eating habits I follow now. Glad you're nearly at your target though. I hope to reach two hundred or even one hundred ninety. Update the group when you get there so everyone can celebrate online and I can whip up something special just for you.

More like survo for appetite suppression for sure, now how long that lasts we will see.

Survo hits hard then dies out fast in my opinion though.
