Bi-weekly to weekly dosing

Summary

should I switch back from split twice-weekly dosing to single weekly injections for better results or fewer sides on this GLP-1

Users report mixed experiences with dosing frequency. Some prefer weekly for stability and possibly slower tolerance buildup while others find every 5-6 days or split doses reduce sides or improve appetite control. Several switched back and forth based on personal response rather than a fixed rule. Calorie tracking and deficit remain key when weight stalls occur.

What this discussion establishesWhere people disagree

Whether split dosing speeds tolerance or simply causes more frequent spikes versus weekly being more stable overall

Still open

Whether returning to weekly after a stall will restart progress or if calories are the real limiter

Nothing here is advice.

Started out moving from weekly to twice-weekly shots to cut down on sides, and it helped at first with ongoing weight drop. But now with higher amounts I'm stuck at the same weight for four weeks, unsure if that's a real stall, and curious if others have gone back to single weekly doses.

I keep second-guessing how I split my weekly amount. It functions well enough, yet I recall the bigger shot bringing stronger effects that last around five or six days. Maybe switching to one dose every five or six days and sticking with it would suit me better.

I'm someone who prefers doing shots once a week. Others manage okay by dividing their doses, yet I notice that a single weekly shot keeps things steadier for me compared to breaking it up. It might seem odd to some, but let me explain. Although one might think weekly shots lead to bigger ups and downs, splitting actually means more ups and downs happening often. The system ends up processing intake more regularly. From my experience, things feel steadier overall, and most of the weight comes off near the close of each seven-day period.

Yeah, I've been thinking the same thing. Maybe I'll stop dividing them up, but I'm concerned that taking the full amount together could feel way stronger.

For me the injections spaced five days apart work out the best. I had been dividing my dose into two weekly shots on Monday and Thursday but after switching over the hunger reduction became much stronger.

I tend to do the same thing at five day intervals myself.

Back when I was bumping up my dosage I would divide it temporarily just to keep the bad reactions down. In the gaps I went back to a single weekly shot. After a while that constant changing annoyed me so I decided to keep dividing instead. Those bad reactions are almost entirely gone now. I have no intention of switching back for the time being.

I'm going to keep doing it every seven days, specifically in the morning on Fridays. Right now I'm taking 9 milligrams. I don't think doing it every two weeks instead would change the weight loss results much, though it might with the unwanted effects. I wonder about a few things. How much are you taking these days, and how much time have you spent at that level?

NorthCinder83archiveJun 26

At the start of everything I tried splitting but got nothing from it. Now I dose every six days and that controls the appetite better while giving steadier results on the scale.

LevelThistle44archiveJun 26

My schedule has me taking doses at intervals of three and a half days, and that holds steady in my case. In practice everyone picks what suits them, so the exact timing hardly changes anything. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

Love the consistent results! I should do so well!

I've settled into two milligrams on a three-day cycle at present. Treatment began toward the end of May. The opening period used one milligram on that interval for roughly the first two weeks. After that came ten days or so at one point five before shifting to the present amount around the middle of June. Content with this amount and not considering any increase soon. Body weight has dropped steadily across the four weeks since beginning. Fluctuations in concentration remain limited under this timing. Added two hundred fifty micrograms of cagrilintide about fourteen days back to strengthen hunger control further. Doubt it's required anymore. Several weeks passed before enough built up in circulation to notice the effects. A tracking application lets me log multiple compounds alongside hormone replacement and symptom patterns all in one place, which I find quite useful.

I love spotting cases where people straighten data via minimal squares. It's refreshing to encounter someone who looks past the tiny points. Cheers!

I'm taking six milligrams total each week at the moment, half on Sunday and half on Thursday. I've used this amount since late March and will have four weeks at this level by the coming Sunday. After checking what others described, I might return to the usual study approach of trying one six-milligram shot weekly first to see whether I need an increase now that I've already completed four weeks here. For tracking intake I've always logged calories during ordinary diets without the medication and restart that whenever my results stall to confirm I haven't slipped. Right now my daily goal sits at 2100 calories given my height of 184 centimeters and weight of 109 kilograms. Activity has dropped somewhat after an injury yet I keep up home routines and physical therapy sessions. Relying just on the calorie numbers means I should remain in a deficit anyway so I didn't expect any problem. On the wanted results appetite and thoughts about food have risen but control remains stronger than without the medication though weaker than it was at four milligrams split a month and a half back.

I wanted to drop one percent each week. The main things that threw off my plan were starting the therapy and adding the supplement. The therapy only lasted a short time, but the supplement threw off my scan numbers compared to the scale readings so I stopped taking it.
