Selank / Semax questions

Summary

best way to research Selank and Semax together including dosing schedule, combining doses, administration route, and real user experiences

Users report mixing the two peptides in one syringe or preparing them for intranasal use with varying results. Several found intranasal delivery more effective than sub-q for noticeable effects, while one person experienced strong side effects from Selank after Semax produced nothing. Cycling details remain inconsistent across reports, and off-period outcomes are rarely tracked precisely. Overall experiences range from no effect to improved calm and focus after initial jitteriness.

Planning to research both peptides at 300 mcg each on a 5 days on 2 off schedule, probably in the morning. Main questions are whether they can go in the same injection, what the recommended time off really is after four weeks of use, and whether symptoms return once the break starts. The research subject tends toward irritability and short temper possibly tied to low mood but does not usually feel sadness.

Have you looked into doing these as a nasal spray instead? I tried both that way at 250-600 mcg and noticed positive effects. I have thought about adding them back sub-q and would pin them separately, Semax in the morning and Selank later in the day. Hard to say exactly when any effects faded because I was not treating specific symptoms, just trying to lift productivity and mood. Other habits like sauna and float tanks were also in the mix so results are hard to separate.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have seen some notes on nasal spray use and might test that route later to compare. For now I will keep them separate and try Semax in the morning with Selank in the evening.

If you want details on how to prepare the nasal version just let me know.

After using an inhaler earlier and then training, I think both peptides would work better as nasal sprays since that route might help them reach the brain more easily.

ClearLantern81archiveMay 13

I have mixed them and use the nasal spray at night before bed.

Semax gave me brain fog and trouble finding words but Selank works well for me when used as a nasal spray in the morning at higher doses.

Nasal spray is the only route that does anything for me either.

Took 300 mcg Semax in the morning and felt nothing. A few hours later tried 300 mcg Selank and ended up with raised heart rate, lightheadedness and feeling jittery, so stopped further testing. Later the same day the anxiety passed and left a calmer focused state instead.

Just received my Semax and want to know how to set it up for nasal use. Would a 7 percent saline solution work for that?

I can share the general steps I follow for nasal prep along with the calculator I use for dosing. I usually start with 5 ml of saline for a 10 mg vial which gives roughly 250 mcg per spray. Draw a couple ml to reconstitute, move the rest into the spray bottle, filter the reconstituted peptide in, then mix gently.

I do not see the spray volume listed so the math seems approximate. If each spray is 0.1 ml then 10 mg would need about 4 ml total saline to hit 500 mcg per dose.

My bottles deliver around 0.12 to 0.13 ml per spray. You can always add extra saline and adjust the number of sprays; it becomes a matter of personal preference once the math is sorted.

Knowing the exact spray volume lets you fine-tune. I prefer a full 1 mg total since my brain can use all the help it can get.

That method looks useful. I plan to follow the same steps and will update with results.

ClearBeacon53archiveMay 24

Ran sub-q Semax at 500 mcg daily for two weeks with no noticeable change. Raised it to 750 mcg recently and still nothing. Might experiment with nasal delivery later but not right away.

SteadyLedger54archiveMay 24

Cheap nasal sprayers can be unreliable; the spray count varies and the nozzles eventually break. I switched to a more consistent brand. Some say Semax may need bacteriostatic water to reconstitute properly. My current mix is 10 mg peptide with 2 ml of that water, then added to 5 ml sterile saline in the bottle. That gives seven sprays for 1 mg, so four in the morning and three in the afternoon. I run twenty days on then one or two weeks off, or sometimes just the first twenty days of the month. Selank is next once it arrives.
