Roche's 48-week phase 2 data show solid weight-loss numbers along with lower dropout and better tolerability than today's GLP-1 medicines. The dual agonist, once called CT388-103 and now Enicepatide, produced 22.5% weight loss at 48 weeks without any plateau, 26.1% of people lost 30% or more, and 73% of those with prediabetes returned to normal blood glucose. At the 24 mg dose the dropout rate was only 5.9%, roughly half that of other drugs in the class.
