6 replies6 peopleJan 6, 2026☆ Follow
Summary

how to handle insomnia from 1 mg weekly reta

One user reports poor sleep onset and duration on roughly 1 mg reta per week and asks for relief options. Others reply with personal remedies including bedtime zinc plus magnesium and glycine, morning injections, or adding peptides such as DSIP, Tesa/IPA, or epitalon. A separate account notes that similar glp-1 side effects often peak during early use or dose increases and then fade, suggesting time for adaptation.

Around 1 mg each week this stuff keeps me up at night. Falling asleep takes forever and I barely rest. Anyone got ideas to ease or stop this annoying problem?

Zinc, the right magnesium for sleep, and glycine worked for me when taken right at bedtime.

Ever looked at DSIP or a Tesa/IPA stack? Both of those improved how well I sleep.

Try pinning in the morning and adding magnesium; if that falls short then other peptides like DSIP or epitalon might help.

Curious what your sleep was like before reta. Glp-1 sides tend to feel strongest at the start or while raising doses, so maybe the body just needs time to settle. Tirzepatide made my already poor sleep worse at first, plus headaches and blurry vision that later disappeared, though constipation never left. Everything else faded eventually. Stick with it.
