KPV several times a day vs once a day?

9 replies8 peopleApr 29, 2026☆ Follow
Summary

Does splitting KPV into multiple daily doses improve results for inflammation, tendonitis or BPH compared to once-daily use?

Users report mixed experiences with once-daily KPV for general inflammation and specific issues like Achilles tendonitis and urinary symptoms; some notice modest improvements while others see little change. Short half-life is cited as a reason more frequent dosing could make sense, yet daily injections already feel burdensome to several participants. Limited human data exists and no clear consensus emerges on whether twice-daily use is worth the extra effort.

Has anyone tried KPV at two doses per day for swelling? One dose daily leaves me feeling decent but I wonder if results could be stronger. Considering moving up to twice daily. Also have Achilles tendon trouble and BPH so any specific feedback on those would help.

KPV tolerates higher amounts well. Ran 500 mcg daily for three months then paused for one. Safety looks solid and some plans go as high as 2 mg total per day. Start with the lowest amount that works for the tendon issue. Twice-daily use should be fine during stronger inflammation periods.

From my experience BPC-157 combined with TB500 gave clearer relief on tendon problems than KPV did, though I still use KPV too.

Daily injections already push my limit. Adding more shots per day is out of the question for me.

Expected to dislike it more when I began, yet the routine does not bother me much. Surprising given my strong fear of needles.

That is surprising. Once-weekly Tirz felt manageable even with pens, but daily shots were tolerable though not preferred. Twice daily would only happen if benefits were obvious and strong, otherwise it stays off the list.

Daily shots are disliked by most, yet the habit forms after some time through mental effort.

Six days in and still wake at night to urinate, though flow feels stronger. A lump on the Achilles appears smaller. Changes are small so far. At age 73, plan is 500 mcg daily for twenty days then stop because the daily shots have grown tiring. Weekly Reta is already enough.

Unmodified peptides like this clear from blood in minutes. Subcutaneous tissue may slow breakdown so effective duration could reach half an hour to several hours, which favors more frequent dosing. Endogenous peptides often use far higher amounts than natural levels, so brief high pulses from once-daily shots might suffice. Looked into colitis research but most work focused on modified versions for oral use, with almost none on plain KPV. Human trial data on dosing remains absent.
