I had no idea the tirz powder vial would pull the BAC water right in and make it fizz like that. The surprise caught me off guard. Once everything settled the liquid looked clear. This was the first gray batch I had put together.

The sudden pull can catch people off guard the first time around. Vacuum inside the vials is what draws the liquid in so fast. Hope the first gray pin goes well for you.

I think you want to avoid letting the bac water rush in because the peptides can be sensitive. Keep hold of the plunger so it cannot move on its own, then ease it back slowly so the liquid trickles down the wall. Another step I take is to remove the plunger first, insert the needle to balance the pressure, replace the plunger, and then add the bac water gradually along the side.

Right, wrap your whole hand around the filled syringe including the plunger, push the needle through, and gradually loosen your grip so the plunger slides in on its own. Works every time.

You can also push a little air into the vial first so the vacuum is not as strong when the bac water goes in. I usually add one or two milliliters of air. At some point extra pressure makes it harder to push more liquid, but I still prefer not to let everything get sucked in hard and hit the powder all at once. I got the sense once that my tirz worked less well after that kind of fast addition, even if it is not supposed to matter.

From what I have read it makes no difference with tirzepatide because the compound is not fragile at all. You could shake the vial hard and it would still be fine, so all the careful slow-add steps do not really change anything for this particular peptide.

Not sure about that. Venting pulls in whatever is floating in the room air. A cough or breath beforehand and it is still there.

The videos on peptide testing and reconstitution mention letting the powder sit until it is fully dissolved and all bubbles are gone before using it. They also suggest filtering into a fresh sterile vial with a self-sealing cap.

That matches what I have heard about tirz as well. The interview with the testing expert last year noted that this peptide is quite stable and they do not handle it with any special care during reconstitution.
