Cagri Fatigue?

15 replies9 peopleMay 20, 2026☆ Follow
Summary

Does starting cagrilintide cause noticeable fatigue and does it go away?

Users report strong evening tiredness and couch-sleeping after a 0.5 mg dose, often described as mental rather than physical exhaustion. Several people confirm the effect is common early on, can worsen with lower calorie intake, and tends to fade after a few weeks for some while persisting for others at higher doses. Many link it to the drug's appetite suppression leading to under-fueling.

I gave myself a 0.5 mg shot of cagri on Saturday and every night after that I have ended up falling asleep on the couch. Could this be the tiredness people mention with cagri or is something else coming my way?

SharpCinder28archiveMay 20

Someone else had pretty bad daytime tiredness but went up to 2 mg of cagri to help get past plateaus.

Thanks, that second part looks encouraging. I am going to push through it. I also suspect I have not been eating enough, which may be adding to the tiredness. Cagri really packs a punch. Time for a protein shake.

I dealt with really strong tiredness for roughly a month while using 1.25 every other week. Glad to say it has stopped happening.

That tiredness is exactly why I have avoided trying it. I already feel worn out most days.

Good to hear it eventually went away. I plan to keep going.

Exactly. I finally connected the dots this afternoon. I had just returned from a trip so I blamed jet lag at first, but this felt different, like the weariness started in my head instead of my body.

I take sema in the morning, tirz in the evening, and cagri with supper. When tiredness hits I reach for reta.

The tiredness from cagri is definitely real. I only lasted three weeks at 0.5 mg before it became too much.

That heavy evening tiredness and crashing on the couch is typical for cagri when first starting, especially at 0.5 mg. The mental side of the fatigue rather than body tiredness matches what many describe. It seems to affect the nervous system more than tirz or sema alone for quite a few. Some feel it strongly right away while others notice it more when the dose rises. A number of experienced users note that the strong appetite drop can lead to eating too little protein and calories, which adds to the problem. You wondered if low fuel is a factor too. Hope it eases up for you soon.

Every time I consider adding a small amount of cagri to my tirz to move past this five-month stall I read about the tiredness and take the kit out of my cart. I already nap quite a bit with my cats even though my tracker shows decent sleep. I cannot afford extra tiredness because it would hurt my job performance. Without a full-time role that needs my mind sharp for over fifty hours a week I would try it to break the stall.

Thanks, that helps. I really thought it was just jet lag at first and did not link it right away. Nice to see others have felt the same thing. Cagri has cut my daily calories by around 300 without me trying, just from losing interest in food. I agree the bigger deficit is likely making the tiredness worse. I will increase my protein.

I reached 5 mg a week and can say it still helps break stalls while the tiredness keeps going. It is usually worst the two days right after the shot and then eases for the rest of the week. A short nap helps a lot.

Thanks for the update. I feel better this evening after pinning Saturday morning. Also good to know a nap can help, I will try that.

That is the reason I tried 1.25 mg. Even that small dose still caused tiredness for me. Glad it no longer happens.

Glad you are feeling better. A solid sleep can really help.
