Apple is banning peptide dosage calculators

Summary

how are people handling Apple removing peptide dosage calculator apps from the store

Users report losing access to familiar tools and are shifting to web versions, browser workarounds, or manual methods. Some generate custom tables with AI or simplify reconstitution math to avoid needing apps. Others note that web-based options remain available and are less likely to be restricted.

Bummer, hearing about that is disappointing. Apparently TikTok went through plenty of adjustments lately as well.

I'm literally gonna end up in a hospital without that calculator. Lifelong math phobia. Seriously. 😳 Hopefully the other store does NOT follow suit.

I depend on that one online spot quite often. The math parts aren't my main reason for using it, but rather things like the decay time estimators and similar features. This update might influence those. At least my device is running on Android for the moment.

I handled the whole calculation just once on my computer or even a phone browser for doses starting at one milligram and going higher as needed then printed labels or sheets to avoid repeating the step later after that I always stick with the exact same liquid volume when mixing each time which keeps everything simple for me

I had already decided to look for a pdf containing all the information laid out beforehand. It seems improbable that no such thing exists.

CopperLantern15archive10h

I wondered if the browser that comes from apple might work okay instead.

Demonstrate your hidden alliance with the major drug corporations simply by avoiding any direct reference to it.

I almost mentioned it but figured folks might dismiss me for pinning the whole thing on that firm's moves, yet here I am anyway. Still, this seems to clash with that person's push to get those compounds cleared by the regulators.

CopperAlder51archive9h

Online calculation tools have been my choice for years. A number of them handle IN, SQ, blends, reverse and the like. They fulfill everything I require.

Doesn't shock me one bit. The troubles he left behind remain embedded deep in the firm's basic makeup even after his exit.

This outfit acts way too controlling for a group that preys on minors. Of course it tracks when you remember those youngsters come from broke families.

I asked an ai model to draft something like this and then made a few edits so it matched my prescription strength or explained things more clearly.

KeenThistle22archive9h

Those programs aren't something I bother with at all. Working things out manually isn't hard. Just a basic adding machine handles everything I need.

How nice! Querying the first model produced a dull table so now I'll switch to the second one and request a personalized version just like the example here. Grateful!

↳ replying to @AmberCinder18

I've experienced success prompting the AI to first create a table, then convert that into a poster layout.

I like reconstituting most of my peptides at ten milligrams per milliliter when the batch size and dose allow it. I look at the certificate result and just slide the decimal point left by one spot to figure out the water volume needed. With a twenty-four milligram vial that gives two point four milliliters, which sets the concentration right at ten milligrams per milliliter. After that the math on a standard insulin syringe stays straightforward: half a milligram comes out to five units, one milligram to ten units, four milligrams to forty units. In some cases the total liquid would get too large to inject comfortably, so for a twenty milligram vial I switch to twenty milligrams per milliliter instead. That means cutting the earlier water amount in half, down to one point two milliliters for the same vial. Doses then scale accordingly, with one milligram now at five units and four milligrams at twenty units. I stick to these round concentrations mainly because they keep everything simple in my head and lower the odds of a slip when I draw a dose.

Browser apps seem better to me. They take more searching but don't have as many limits.

I figured it must work like a phone program since I kept going back to it without ever checking the format, but it turns out to be just an online page instead. What a relief!

Yeah, those kinds of tools, including the one I built, ought to work fine. Browser versions perform at the same level as anything downloaded from the usual marketplaces.

Honestly that explanation left me puzzled haha though it's really my own fear of numbers rather than anything on your end. Glad you posted it anyway. I'll try applying the ten unit tip next time I work with petmath.

AmberMeadow80archive8h

I did a fast web lookup and spotted several online choices appearing first in the listings with some stores included too.

I get where folks are coming from when they judge their own skills and what feels right for them. My aim here was just to outline an easy way that avoids heavy calculations. To put it simply once more: shift the decimal in the milligram test outcome to find the blood alcohol level, and treat each milligram as ten parts, two as twenty, and so on. Not everybody will find this approach useful, and that is perfectly fine. It is smart to double-check your figures with a device even when working mentally, which is why I appreciate the alternatives shared for the phone glitch. For mixing ratios I prefer writing things down by hand since the tools do not match my preferred results, yet once I have the amounts set I still verify them using those same tools to confirm the strength. Safer that way overall.

It feels ridiculous and I'm not on board with the rule but anyway I just pull up that info page in my mobile browser the same way I check here. The default fitness tracker on my device lets me log all the substances along with how much to use each day. Nobody can prevent me from putting in whatever I want which cracks me up. If that gets stopped I'll simply rename them all in a secret way like calling one thing something else and so forth πŸ˜‚

Exactly, many different pages feature tools for figuring numbers that end up on your device's main page.

I came up with this basic technique to determine the injection amount. Initially I calculate the share of the entire content that matches my target dose. For instance with 30 mg inside and a goal of 3 mg it works out to ten percent. Then I apply that share to the total liquid volume expressed in units. With 2 ml added equaling 200 units ten percent equals 20 units to draw. When the figures are simple I handle the arithmetic mentally otherwise a regular calculator works fine.

I've built a detailed custom project inside Claude that handles automatic monitoring of my reserves, stock levels, and timetables. It also includes multiple calculation tools for amounts and threshold values among other things. If you use Claude as well and would like the markdown file to set it up on your own machine, feel free to say so.
