Sounds a lot like the AFIB episode I went through four years ago. I take two daily meds for it and have not had any return since. I increased to a high weekly dose on reta with no trouble at all.
Anyone else willing to try retatrutide even with past arrhythmia? I figured on a small heart rate bump but learned later that anyone with arrhythmia history got left out of the middle and late trials over worries about flutter or AFib coming back. My wife and I both had treatment for a-flutter before. She had it return after roughly four months at a moderate final dose. We quit right away and got to the cardiologist fast. The doctor said the medication probably was not the cause but could not exclude it. He advised restarting a GLP-1 right away and favored the dual agonist because of more safety experience, evidence it lowers heart events like flutter, and because it already has full approval. She is back in normal rhythm and doing fine on that option. I have had no trouble myself and my long-standing extra beats actually seem less frequent.
