BPC 157 protocol thread

10 replies6 peopleJun 15, 2026☆ Follow
Summary

What dosing schedules work for standalone BPC-157, including split daily amounts versus single larger doses and stacking with TB-500?

Users report trying 250-500 mcg once or twice daily, with some escalating to 1 mg total per day or 1-2 mg split morning and night for the first weeks. Several note insomnia at higher or combined doses that resolved after reducing frequency, while others saw joint and bursitis relief on 4-8 week cycles followed by breaks. Subcutaneous administration is preferred over oral due to lower bioavailability concerns, and TB-500 is commonly added at 2-10 mg weekly spaced out.

Exact half-life of BPC-157 and whether a single larger daily dose is superior to split dosing

Hi everyone, I wanted to create a focused thread on BPC-157 protocols since my first standalone kit should arrive soon. Previously I used what seems like a low amount of BPC-157 combined with TB500 at around 0.25 mg every other morning. Now I plan to switch to 0.2 mg in the morning alongside GHK-cu and another 0.2 mg at night with CJC and Epithalon. Any opinions on splitting BPC daily? Would a single larger dose be preferable instead? I don't remember the half-life but prefer keeping levels steady across day and night.

I used 0.5 mg two or three times each day for four to six weeks. The second time around I added 1.5 mg of TB500 three times per week. That approach worked for me.

Two weeks ago I began a stack of BPC-157, KPV and TB-500. My initial schedule was 500 mcg BPC twice daily morning and night, the same for KPV, and 2 mg TB-500 on Mondays and Thursdays. That caused immediate insomnia, so after nearly a week of almost no sleep I switched to 1 mg of the BPC-KPV combo only in the morning plus the same TB-500 schedule. Sleep returned and older aches started fading, including noticeable improvement in left-hip bursitis.

Some people report an energizing effect from BPC, which would explain the insomnia. That BPC amount looks high; how did you settle on it?

I tried 250 mcg per dose twice a day for several weeks and saw nothing. I mainly check an online source for dosing suggestions that lists 500 mcg twice daily. I moved up to 1 mg total without any side effects and intend to run an eight-week cycle then take four to six weeks off depending on how long the benefits last.

I do 1-2 mg BPC per day split 1 mg morning and night for the first week or two. TB-500 runs about 5-10 mg weekly, spaced every day or two. My routine is 1 mg BPC plus 1 mg TB together in the morning and another 1 mg BPC alone at night. That came from a peptide podcast episode.

In earlier runs I took 500 mcg upon waking and another 500 mcg before bed, continuing that pattern for four to six weeks with good results. I have TB-500 now but have not used it yet since I have no current injuries.

That guidance is for oral dosing, not sub-q. Are you using oral?

Oral BPC has much lower biological availability, so the typical sub-q range is 0.5-1 mg.
