It clicks for me now. After coming out of a bad phase the upsides become clear and you feel driven to jolt folks into seeing things your way. No reason they must remain in that old pattern right? Wanting to assist based on what you've figured out just seems built into us.
EDIT: Way to go with the pounds lost! Real advancement there.
It reminds me of stopping cigarettes then ditching the vape too. Feels absurd because back at my heaviest I always stood out as the biggest person wherever I went. These days after the drop I notice really large folks and get this urge to feel sorry for them plus even tell my partner I might suggest some medication. I get that it's wrong. Same vibe as how I now dislike anyone still using tobacco or those devices. I've left that behind and somehow think I've developed more than they have. Sure it's nonsense and dumb thinking on my end but I end up looking down on heavier people even though I was among the largest not long ago. Anyone else notice the same thing in private? I have zero dislike for bigger folks just compassion and a wish to lend a hand. People who smoke or vape annoy me though except that one who is great.
