Everything depends on how you look at it. I feel no pull toward outfits aside from maybe shedding what I'm wearing. For years now I haven't picked up any apparel just for me. Still, out back stands a building stuffed with luggage holding garments from the past that sit unused. It saddens me to consider their pointless lonely presence, especially since I never acquired them myself. Partners from my past did that. I've dropped eighty pounds off my frame along with a huge sum from my finances.

Some of those stories sound hard to believe. Proof would help. Medical travel is great if you don't mind the trips. Sigh.

Probably don't count yet. Started at 328 and now down over twenty one pounds in five weeks with the slow dose increase, but my sleep apnea and snoring are already gone. Waking up at four a.m. like someone hit me with adrenaline. My whole attitude shifted fast and I actually like being alive now. Labs, a1c, everything looks good.

Way more clothing choices now. Not feeling like I have to hide how big I was with a jacket or something. Going to a doctor with a real issue and not having them blame it on weight right away. On the bad side I agree about hard surfaces. Never had much of a butt even at my heaviest so there's not enough padding anymore. Plus the loose skin.

Of course you're in. Starting to feel better and live better is what matters.

This is exactly my situation. Bags and bags of XL to 4XL and now I'm in medium and small shirts with 32 pants.

Totally agree on the clothes. Not sure I belong here yet since I haven't finished losing, but going from 190 to 160 already opened up options I never had. First time I could even think about having any style. Before shopping was just checking if something made me look fat and if it did but at least hid the back rolls I'd buy it.

Down 131 pounds total and the biggest shock for me is how much bigger my wiener looks now. Not kidding.

Oddly massages hurt more with less fat padding. Or maybe I just never liked them much anyway.

I was just thinking about booking a massage and hadn't considered that. Haven't had one since the weight came off and now I'm wondering if it'll even be worth it.

Sorry to hear about the damage. Sounds like a long haul. Good luck with the rehab. Being called the thinnest guy in the room hits home. People say I'm tiny now. I'm not actually tiny but compared to before I get why they see it that way. The worst surprise was finding out my weight had been holding my organs in place so now I need muscle repairs. At first I thought it was from the medication.

The leg crossing thing became automatic. They had to tell me to uncross when checking blood pressure.

I did the same and now I actually can.

I really like deep tissue work. Losing the weight made them better for me because the therapist can reach the muscles properly.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Funny how folks say you look too thin but it's all relative to where you started. I'm having trouble dropping the post surgery pounds but now I understand the "lose ten or twenty" comments from others. Used to think in hundreds of pounds and felt no one could relate. Muscle tightening or even an umbilical hernia repair isn't that unusual. Hope yours goes well.

Guess I need to try a massage just to test it out. Hoping it works that way for me too.
