From what I've seen and felt myself, reta doesn't dampen food thoughts the way tirzepatide does, and that's actually useful because it still lets you eat enough while getting full faster. Since you're training more to build muscle you're probably burning extra calories, so your body may simply be signaling that it needs more fuel. Planning meals ahead and keeping sensible snacks ready can keep you from going overboard. Remember that gaining muscle means gaining some scale weight and requires a calorie surplus. A common error is keeping calories the same after ramping up training and shifting goals from fat loss to muscle gain.
Started reta back in January on just 1 mg weekly and dropped around 20 kg with almost no issues. Toward the end I moved up to 1.5 mg twice a week. Now I'm in a reverse diet eating more to regain muscle and strength. Hunger has returned hard. I can eat and feel okay for an hour or two, then the thoughts about the next meal start and I want to snack constantly, even if I stick to tomatoes. Tried 2 mg twice a week for the last seven days but the constant food focus hasn't eased. Thinking about going to 2.5 mg twice a week on Monday and Thursday. Is that unrealistic or should I expect the same easy control I had while cutting?
