I agree with what you said there but I'm unsure about claiming more protein while cutting would add muscle. From what I remember the research shows it might maintain muscle better though it doesn't mention actually gaining any.

Someone gave what looked like a solid breakdown on the limit to how much the body can process before the rest turns into sugars or similar, though I could be mistaken so don't hold me to it. Regarding muscle gains, from what I gather you need to eat above your needs along with plenty of protein, but I'll leave the exact numbers to people who know that topic better since I'm no expert there. My point about adding lean tissue ties into weight training that pairs extra calories with strength work.

Someone familiar with the process explained it once. Medical folks don't focus on that angle. I build muscle by training with loads that cause limited fiber damage, use amino supplements, recover fully, stay hydrated, and cycle back through it.

Sure dude. As I mentioned before you're a total stranger so whatever choices you make don't touch my life at all and I'm not looking to change your mind either. Check into stuff if that's your thing. The reply you gave me though used outdated studies which is exactly the wrong sort I had in mind earlier.

These shakes are fantastic in every way. Recently I got some special versions from a big store that aren't sold in most spots, but I still have to sample them. You really can't beat shakes like these. Now I use only this milk and have no plans to switch back to the standard type. Its nutritional benefits are so much greater that it's hard to imagine.

I have noticed this milk stays fresh much longer than ordinary kinds. It packs extra protein with lower sugar while delivering a thick smooth flavor. It contains zero lactose due to a filtering step that takes out most of it first then applies an enzyme to handle whatever remains. Yet because it comes from real cows it still holds proteins like casein and whey so anyone with a dairy allergy needs to steer clear rather than treating it like a simple lactose issue.

Yeah that makes sense because too much protein might actually work against you when you're cutting calories. Since your energy levels are already down in a deficit, an unbalanced mix of protein and carbs could make you even more tired, possibly messing up your consistency over time. Though what I meant was the research you shared, which focused only on people over fifty who weren't exercising at all. Right, so maintenance or a surplus is necessary along with a minimum of point seven grams of protein for each pound of body weight.

Yeah, it is almost scary how long that milk is good for, like months. But I think the fine print says once opened you are supposed to consume in fourteen days. I do not think my dad follows that rule and is still kicking, but I usually have it consumed way before then anyways.

Haha maybe I should glance at the label. Since I hardly ever use dairy I pick this variety because it stays usable much longer which balances out the extra expense. Even after quite a few weeks it still tastes fresh with no bad smell or flavor. Other options tend to get discarded once I grab the smaller container.

Many product dates in America seem overly cautious to me, that's the reason I brought up my father earlier. I tend to be overly careful when it comes to such matters. There was one occasion where I consumed spoiled dairy that I picked up from a quick stop while heading to my job, and it's obvious when something's wrong with it.

I don't recognize that reference at all. Preventing inaccurate claims matters more than any professional focus. That research avoided any suggestion of increased amounts promoting greater muscle development since nothing like that occurred. Muscle growth isn't limited to serious weightlifting routines. Plenty of options exist for strength exercises beyond the gym. Physical jobs such as building sites might allow skipping workouts entirely when daily protein meets needs. Achieving a highly developed physique remains unlikely in those situations though. Are you referring to branched chain amino acid pills? Those additions aren't required provided total protein consumption stays adequate and includes all essential types to fulfill every amino need.

I totally agree here. Looking closely at everything listed is something I do before trying these bars. Only a couple end up being any good.

I liked this one best of all. It matched the description with its smooth texture and crunch. I'm no specialist in diet but lots of folks suggested trying it. Comments are welcome since I enjoy picking up new info.

Overall it seems pretty decent. But a few of the components can mess with stomach bacteria. The fake sugar is an example of that. From memory both the sugar substitute and the sweetener mess up the microbes in a bad manner. The protein amount looks boosted due to the cow collagen too which is a problem. This protein isn't the best since it is missing some amino acids important for developing muscles.

BlueThistle84archiveJul 11

I tend to worry excessively regarding my digestive bacteria and do my best to avoid upsetting their balance much. Therefore you should view my comment doubtfully. Still the details on protein composition hold up. Various proteins aren't identical.

IronLantern52archiveJul 17

I try not to have those bars often since they are not meant for everyday eating. What I reach for instead are Greek yogurts that give twenty five grams of protein, plus cottage cheese, eggs fixed any way I feel like, chicken or turkey, and steak or other red meats. After training I stir whey protein powder into water and drink it down.

I value the recommendations you gave. Those turned out to be very useful indeed.
