BPC-157 Experiences for Ongoing Biceps Tendon Inflammation

12 replies8 peopleMar 3, 2026☆ Follow
Summary

user experiences with BPC-157 or alternatives for chronic biceps tendon inflammation and pain during gym movements

Several users report partial relief from BPC-157 at doses around 1 mg daily, sometimes combined with TB-500, leading to reduced pain and better function over weeks to months. Others found nicotine patches effective for pain after other methods failed, and one plans post-surgery use alongside other compounds. Exercise, diet adjustments, and avoiding triggers are mentioned as supportive steps, though results vary and some still require surgery.

What this discussion establishesWhere people disagree

whether standard 0.5 mg dosing suffices or if higher amounts and combinations are needed; value of nicotine versus peptides first

Still open

long-term outcomes without surgery and ideal dosing protocols for different injury severities

Nothing here is advice.

Anyone dealt with ongoing biceps tendon inflammation? I've begun shoulder and back strengthening work including rotator cuff moves, yet most pushing exercises at the gym still hurt badly. The butterfly machine is impossible for me right now. Wondering if BPC-157 might be worth trying.

BPC-157 tends to help with tendons overall, though the usual half-milligram daily amount often falls short. One milligram worked better for me. Cutting out foods that promote inflammation can also make a big difference, so testing an elimination approach to spot personal triggers is worthwhile since diet effects can be substantial.

It eased some of my pain and improved function along with range of motion. When it's this severe, recovery can stretch over several months. I gave it six weeks at doses I felt okay with. If progress stayed limited I added TB4/TB500. Right now I'm heading into surgery for rotator cuff, frozen shoulder, distal clavicle and bicep tendinopathy issues, using the combo afterward to support healing. It kept me going through earlier rehab but hasn't been a complete solution after more than a year.

HGH has more human studies behind it for recovery than anything else in that category, BPC included.

After the first week on one milligram each of BPC and TB4 for twelve weeks total, I plan to add KLOW, IGF-1 LR3, CJC-1295/Ipamorelin and TA-1. I'll introduce them gradually to avoid overload, then increase once I'm past the stronger medications.

Biceps tendonitis bothered me badly for nearly a year with no relief from stretches, exercises or red laser. On a chance I tried a nicotine patch on the arm and after a month the pain was gone. I've since stopped the patch and started BPC-157, TB500 and HGH while staying pain free. My mother saw the same result with foot pain.

I stopped smoking years ago so nicotine doesn't seem like the right choice here.

Any studies on that approach? What led you to try the nicotine patch?

Both arms have bicep tendinitis. Right now I'm on one milligram of BPC daily plus two milligrams of TB500 twice weekly. Does that sound okay or should the amounts change?

It depends on how extensive the injury is and your overall health, including whether anything might be growing that shouldn't. Eating clean matters too. One milligram of BPC daily seems reasonable though responses differ. Some raise the dose briefly for acute cases then lower it. I'd stay conservative on dosing and focus on suitable tendon exercises where possible. A solid online resource on tendonitis helped me with various similar issues. Everything here is still uncertain territory so the choice is yours based on your own situation.

I ended up reading about various medical uses for nicotine and came across mentions of benefits for pain and inflammation, so I decided to test it. Wish I'd tried sooner. There are surprisingly many reported applications worth looking into.

BPC has been banned by WADA, which suggests it has real effects. From what I've seen and heard from others, larger amounts tend to produce better results. Because the half-life is only about four hours, splitting into two doses daily works better than one bigger one.

I'll check that out, thanks for the suggestion. Bicep tendinitis on my right side has been stubborn too. Planning to try BPC first and switch to the patch if needed.
