I recall research done in Canada that tracked blood sugar levels continuously while participants consumed maple syrup daily. To me personally, experiencing those unwanted effects means the medication remains active even after extended use. There seem to be far more individuals staying at lower doses because of such reactions or concerns about them compared to those going higher. If not for that, I would likely avoid plateaus by staying at stronger amounts regularly rather than adding other substances. When one reaches a point where it no longer feels as useful, alternatives exist such as transitioning gradually to a different option while using both temporarily. Combining another compound with it, whether alone or alongside others, allows affecting additional targets beyond the original two.
After checking out various papers on the matter, it appears there's not much investigation into it. I'm interested in hearing about others' long-term encounters with this. Has anyone noticed if the medication stops working as well after extended use?
