Not feeling anything at all anymore? Reta on a diet.

Summary

How to handle fading appetite control from retatrutide when starting a reverse diet after weight loss?

The original poster lost good weight on low twice-weekly doses but saw effects drop at the end of their cut; stopping led to strong rebound hunger. Others recommend titrating higher, with one user now comfortable at 6 mg weekly after side effects faded and another at 3 mg every 3.5 days. Personal results vary but several note stronger effects around 4 mg and above without major issues once tolerance builds.

Hey, I began with Reta early this year at 0.5 mg twice a week and got solid results. Toward the end of my diet I raised it to 0.75-1 mg twice weekly but it stopped working like before. I figured I'd quit and start reversing my diet, yet hunger and appetite came back way stronger. Should I go up again? I'm considering 1.5 mg twice a week. Any better options? Thanks for any help, have a good day or night.

I'd definitely titrate up.

Hmm what dose should I try? Maybe 1.5 mg twice per week? And on which days, like Monday and Thursday? Or just once a week on Wednesday?

Welcome. I can't really help with your question but here's how I started. After the first 2.5 ml I stayed at 0.5 ml once a week for roughly six months and lost 4 lbs every week without fail. Hit a plateau so I moved to 0.8 and now I'm at 1.0. To me your twice-weekly shots should already be enough. Hopefully some of the more experienced people will reply. Wish you the best.

If you have no side effects it's fine to titrate up until you find what works. A lot of people here say effects really show up around the 4 mg mark with reta. Same thing happened for me. I began on April 11 at 1 mg once a week and felt everything the next day including nausea, headaches, strong appetite suppression and skin sensitivity. After two weeks on 1 mg the sides disappeared so I kept going up and now sit at 6 mg where I'm comfortable, dropping 1-2 lbs weekly with good appetite control and no food noise. Down 17 lbs total since April from 205 to 188. Hope that helps your own progress.

Yeah, try that. I've been on it since 1/5 and I'm up to 3 mg every 3.5 days now.

I'm really happy for you, that's a huge amount of weight lost already! Started in January myself and dropped 44 pounds. Now I'm trying to raise calories a little so appetite has gotten worse and I need to keep it in check. Since I'm not getting any sides or even any effects at all I think I'll titrate up. Thanks!
