I took retatrutide for roughly six months until even big dose increases stopped having much effect. I then tried tirzepatide and cagri as well, but they did nothing either. After stopping everything for about nine weeks I restarted reta three weeks ago at 1 mg. That still left too much appetite so I added 500 mcg of cagrilintide. The combination yesterday did not reduce food noise at all. Should I raise the cagri amount next time or keep it steady and increase reta instead? Is it common for cagri to leave food noise untouched when searches called it powerful?

What dose and schedule were you using with retatrutide? 1 mg is quite low.

I was taking 3 mg reta and 2 mg tirzepatide each week.

I would raise the reta dose before concluding it is not working. 3 mg is still a fairly low amount.

Recent trials tested reta at 4 mg, 8 mg and 12 mg. Increase reta to at least 4 mg, allow four weeks for levels to build, then raise cagri if needed.

That would explain the lack of strong response. You should look at increasing the dose.

Just noting I am in a similar spot. After the first month reta gave almost no appetite suppression for me, though I still felt full faster for a while. Now at month six I am hungrier than ever and it worsens as the dose goes up. I am at 6 mg per week while waiting for cagri to arrive because side effects prevent further increases. In your case you could try raising reta if you were at 3 mg. Stay at whatever new dose for a few weeks before changing cagri. It is frustrating that responses differ so much.

And 2 mg of tirz. I am currently on 4 mg of reta and it controls hunger well enough when I eat clean with enough fiber and protein. Once I eat pizza the effect disappears and I keep going. Tirz makes that only slightly harder. On either compound you should be able to stay in control unless calories are too low or food choices are poor. A higher dose might help briefly but probably not for long.

Suppress hunger enough for what? I am about to warm up leftover pizza and have chocolate cake with milk for dessert. Might need to stop later if I get full.

Split the dose. Reta stops helping with appetite four days after the injection. Also eat clean. The goal is weight loss, not enjoyment.

Interesting. We seem to have different approaches and maybe different goals. Nothing wrong with that. I will wait on the cake since I was not very hungry before and feel full now. Speak for yourself though, my plan is to have the cake and eat it too.

2 mg of tirz is not even a starting dose. Increase the amounts.

Reta will not deliver strong suppression. I am on 7.5 mg tirz and 3 mg reta plus 0.8 mg cagri. I would raise cagri and bring back either sema or tirz for better control. If you stay at starter doses you will keep stalling and feeling hungry.

Started on tirz then switched to reta four weeks later. I think reta combined with my eating is working for me.
