It turns out I'm still really into food. Enjoying meals without the old fixation feels new, and I can taste something, have just a bit, then stop without any sense of loss. Trying a fresh Thai restaurant sounds good, though I'd only manage a tiny amount and feel done. I'm wondering if others are finding this too, or if they mostly choose wholesome meals instead.

Sounds great to hear. I've got a decent balance now too, though I'm not ready to trust myself completely. Portions are still tricky for me, but things are going better than they did before Tirz.

Yes, and it's been enjoyable trying out more nutritious recipes along with some adjustments. I'm also getting comfortable with preparing much smaller dishes these days.

I hear you on this. Slowly I'm seeing that when I stop trying to control everything, I naturally quit eating before getting too full. It's helping me trust myself more, even if the change is gradual.

True for me as well. I still like eating but will quit if something doesn't taste good. Last night I tried Chipotle for the first time in months, finished the whole thing but chose the smaller size and let my daughter have the bigger one. I even drank two regular Cokes. For the field trip lunch I sampled a brownie and cookie but they weren't great so I left them alone.

Same here. I like that I can still have the foods I enjoy yet actually stop once I'm full. It's nice how little it takes to fill me up now. I just wish cooking appealed to me more.

Stopping when full still feels like some kind of magic trick. When it comes to cooking, I usually go for jerky so I can't offer much advice there.

Only six shots in so far, but I still enjoy food while having better control over how much I eat and needing less willpower to avoid overdoing it.
