Tirz Dosing from Reta

Summary

What Tirz dose compares to 9 mg weekly Reta when switching to break a stall?

The thread compares 9 mg weekly Reta (split 4 mg / 5 mg) to Tirz dosing after a two-month stall at nine months on Reta. One estimate suggests roughly 12 mg Tirz, noting stronger appetite effects, while others recommend stacking low-dose Tirz instead of switching. Personal regimens shared include adding 2.5 mg Tirz or combining multiple compounds with different weekly pins. Participants stress slow titration and view Tirz as superior for food-noise control.

Exact comparable Tirz dose for the original poster and whether a stall of two months can be broken by any dose change

Right now I'm using 9 mg of Reta each week with 4 mg on Tuesday and 5 mg on Friday. I've been stuck for almost two months after nine months on Reta. If I take a break from Reta, what Tirz dose would line up with what I'm on now? Any thoughts?

The two are different animals. My rough ballpark guesstimate would be around 12 mg. Hunger suppression on Tirz will probably be stronger though. If breaking a stall is the goal, why stop Reta instead of adding a little sprinkle of tirz to the stack?

There's an unused Tirz kit sitting around here. Apparently Tirz curbs hunger more effectively compared to Reta. I'm aiming to test out Tirz in hopes of getting past this plateau. Likely I'll do one cycle with it before switching back to Reta.

Yeah that's fair and I'd toss in an extra weekly jab at the 2.5 milligram level too. Step the amount higher bit by bit over time till the pounds start dropping again.

Appreciate the response here. Planning to combine tirz with my current reta routine, and because I divide the amount over the week, I've been thinking about the approach. Pinning four times every seven days isn't something I want to do.

I share that outlook and expect to shift eventually toward one weekly administration each for the main pair. The original poster described going two months without any movement on the scale. That kind of extended pause seems really unfortunate to me. I have never dealt with anything beyond a couple days of no change, though I would switch to daily shots if needed to restart progress provided my meals and exercise stay consistent. Right now I inject on three different days each week, spacing out the three compounds across Friday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Thoughts about eating stay completely gone, and my only plan involves trimming the total amount rather than adding more. Because I deal with stronger urges around food, the first compound stands out as the key one for me among these options. The second brings plenty of upsides, yet curbing those urges is not among them in my experience. The third has been a notable new element and I am still figuring out how it fits. When used together the group produces strong results.
