Hormones can definitely play a role, but after four weeks without movement you need to examine what you're eating. If the scale isn't dropping you're probably not in a deficit. Get strict with logging calories and don't rely on the numbers apps give you. Once you know your real intake, lower it until the weight starts coming off again. Hormones might still be causing water retention, yet calories in versus calories out is almost always the main issue.
I'm hitting 50 this year and my top priority is reaching peak fitness. I've been lifting consistently since December after years of training that had slowed down lately. I've been on GLP, working up to 2 mg a week, and started HRT because I'm still premenopausal. Almost six months in and everything has stopped. I've dropped 23 pounds overall but added five this week and seen zero change for the past four. Has anyone else run into this and figured out how to move forward? I really don't want to lose steam. My food choices have stayed tight too.
