I push an insulin needle into the cartridge and pull the remaining liquid into the syringe so I can measure exactly how much is left of the pen dose.
As I near the end of my first cartridge and only a tiny amount remains visible, how can I tell whether I'm still getting the full dose? I've already discarded liquid a few times to remove air bubbles. I started with a low-strength 10 mg per ml cartridge. There should be roughly 2-3 mg left, yet it looks like almost nothing. I'm currently at 1.5 so the dose is short, but I don't want to miss any of it either.
