I've been looking but no clear info turns up. There are tons of pictures online, including some really nice 3D printed ones. Do folks recommend cases for keeping vials in the freezer? A couple kits arrive midweek and three more shortly after, all the same item.

Not sure it's required but I picked up a thermos style container with inserts meant for the freezer. I liked the airtight idea for vials that will sit long term. I also have a printed case for the ones I'll reach for sooner. Maybe some experienced users can chime in.

I remove all the foam and make my own inserts or just use the kit holders instead. Never figured freezing the original foam would work well anyway.

The foam holds up fine in the cold. I used to rely on those cases too and just dropped the kit boxes on top of some foam. Now I only keep the bac water in there.

Sure. I like the craft section boxes and still drop them into a ziplock in the freezer as well. Those small craft bottles make handy travel containers too. The tin is actually a first aid kit from the dollar store.

I keep mine inside a plastic box placed in the upper compartment of the freezer right next to the ice packs. That spot looks handy if the electricity cuts out. This marks my first time holding a frozen supply and outages tend to hit near the holidays from bad weather so I expect to need a stronger backup before then. Still it works fine at the moment.

For that reason plenty of users add extra layers around their peptides during freezer storage to avoid the issue. At present my own arrangement uses an insulated bag fitted with custom printed holders sized to fit sixty four small tubes. I've also made two printed containers for drying packets that slot into the same space as a tube to hold moisture levels down.

Sure it's possible. Separating them is probably a good idea and there are some attractive tinted containers that can hold the different vials apart.

I've noticed those drying packets lose effectiveness fast with even minor closure problems. Enclosures made on a 3d printer never seem to block humidity properly. Items stayed drier for me inside a glass jar or wrapped tightly in a foil-lined pouch.

Being into pipe tobacco, I've seen our circle run lots of trials on holding humidity steady. Semiconductors are another area I deal with often, and there desiccants get discussed regularly. Yet keeping humidity sealed away really calls for materials made of large molecules, like mylar. If the desiccant isn't put inside one of those, it won't stay useful for long.

I was kidding about the variety of hues available. Putting that joke to one side, the printed versions shown around here appear quite nice, useful, tidy and vibrant. Obtaining those locally isn't possible for me, so perhaps I should figure out how to make them myself. Right now I keep everything in the original transparent boxes inside an extra freezer located in the storage area that serves as extra space from the cooking area, meaning the door hardly ever gets used.
