Stacking Reta & Tirz

Summary

user experiences stacking retatrutide with tirzepatide for ongoing weight loss and appetite control

Several users describe adding low-dose reta to steady 7.5-10 mg tirz doses after hitting plateaus or mid-cycle hunger return. Most report tolerable or no new side effects when starting small and titrating slowly, with some preferring to transition fully to reta or switch to cagri instead. A few note the combination can intensify receptor activity and advise caution around surgery clearance times. Individual responses vary and many treat the approach as self-experimentation.

I've kept my peptides for roughly a week now, timing the first 2 mg reta addition for day four of my current 10 mg tirz cycle. Food noise has been returning around that point ever since I reached 7.5 mg tirz, so I decided to try adding reta even though cagri might have been a simpler match. Sema never worked for me but tirz felt like a real improvement until the dip showed up. I'm committed to the stack at this stage and won't go over 2 mg reta weekly. I'll pause everything ahead of an upcoming surgery and restart afterward. The goal is to lose the last stubborn pounds and quiet the constant hunger signals. This is my first experience with any peptides, so drawing from vials and using syringes felt especially nerve-wracking. Anyone else who has combined tirz and reta, I'd appreciate hearing how it went.

Has your progress come to a halt? What caused the choice to combine things now?

I began with 0.5 mg reta today while sitting at 10 mg tirz after more than two months at a plateau. Starting at 2 mg without prior experience seems aggressive, so I chose to begin much lower and monitor how it lands. I finished the last 4 mg from my tirz vial the same day. I'm not planning to keep both long term. Another discussion mentioned that once reta took over, the person felt it carried most of the effect and eventually switched to reta only. I'll run this approach until the current vial is gone and decide after that. Good luck to both of us.

Strange. I can't figure out where that notion comes from. Having a drink that combines several types of alcohol leaves me feeling tipsy, yet I lack any means to tell which one affected me the most.

I'm uncertain myself but there's a thread on that site worth checking out. The author uses an image of a reptile in formal headgear which leads me to accept their take without hesitation.

stack stack stack!

I was using 10 mg tirz and dropped to 7.5 mg the same week I added 2 mg reta. No side effects appeared and everything felt fine. I only combined them for about five or six weeks while lowering tirz and raising reta. Because they act on the same receptors, side effect risk probably rises, yet plenty of people do it and report good results. I now pair reta with cagri instead since that hits a different receptor and works well for me.

I'm using 7.5mg tirz with 3mg reta these days. My weight comes off gradually and that's fine since there's no rush to drop it quicker.

Yeah, now it clicks for me. Those impacts hit harder with them once the reta kicks in around the middle of the week. It checks out.

I divide up my intake so the amounts stay steadier overall. When did you last raise your amount? That step worked for me at the start. I combine the two using smaller quantities and give them on separate days every three days, which suits me fine, though sudden increases might bring some unease if not handled slowly. Before any operation I checked how long these need to leave the body and found it requires more time than expected. The first one lingers noticeably longer than the second, so I am holding off on adding it until later.
